We design it in our own kitchen design software, with 3D renderings and wall-by-wall layouts, then hand you a real cabinet package to build from. That means a complete cabinet schedule, sized and specified for your room, not a rough guess.\n\nWe work with established cabinet lines, including shaker, painted, and wood finishes, and every design comes with a budget range before final supplier pricing. Whether you're remodeling, replacing cabinets, or planning a kitchen in new construction, you start with a design you can actually see.\n\nStarting your design takes about ten minutes, and it's free with no obligation. "Craig the installer did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the windows were - i picked window source's mid-tier level window. The day after my windows were installed the first storm of the season (snow, rain & ice) arrived and the windows completely performed as they should. I never realized what in eyesore my old windows were until i had these installed. i cant even tell how the wrapping on the windows improved the look of my house! I would definitely recommend window source & i did to a family member. Also, their quote process was quick, 1/2 hour to get a price. Window Source wasn't on my radar while i was requesting quotes on angie's list but they came up as a recommendation & i can't tell you how glad i am I hired Window Source to install all my new windows. A friend had windows installed by a popular chain & Window Source beat the quality and look hands down! If you are like me nervous about hiring a contractor you really know nothing about - i am here to tell you will be happy you hired Window Source. Thank you window source for making my 55 year old house look new!!!"

"

We had a tree that was growing up from underneath the house and they got rid of that. We also had a hole in the side of the house so they closed it up and added some siding. My dad did not like them although they were great as far as being able to work with our time table because the work was done in Maine and we live in Connecticut. We like to be there when the work is being done so they were able to pull people from some other sites to help us out to be able to do the work while we were there. So we really appreciated that. We have a hard time finding contractors that are willing to do that. We would hire them again depending on the type of work. They did not do crazy detailed work but there were some things that I would say they could have done a little better. I think their price was reasonable. We had some issues with responsiveness, but it was probably because they like to do things over texting or email. My husband and I are more phone people so we did not always get calls back right away.

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

The method involves lifting settled concrete using pressurized cement slurry via drilled holes. This solves uneven surfaces and prevents further settling.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.
