"I had to call today since you never responded to the last emails sent about the workers/men being in the area the same day of my work request. And yet charged over $300 for travel. You have They would not negotiate the travel time to be fair. Beware!!! never received any written estimate of the work and travel time before they arrived I would have never agree to two hours iof work for $778.20. I shouldn?t have trusted them. Shame on them!! Sadly good scam by them."

"It took two weeks and many calls & emails for Mark to respond to the problem of a leak in the system which caused damage to the ceilings & floor. When he called back we were told that his company didn't have the time to come out. He referred us to another company that does work for him. Two weeks later, someone came to look at the system, said they think they found the problem and told us if it leaked again to call back because we might need a new pump. Well, it leaked. We called. They didn't return the call. So, we called a local guy who was willing to come out that day. When my husband explained what we were told, he said there was no pump involved. And, he was right because with the information we got from the local guy, my husband was able to fix the problem in ten minutes. Very disappointed in the lack of and quality of service from New England Spray Foam."

A dehumidifier can reduce condensation on your ductwork by lowering humidity levels in the air. Condensation occurs when humid, warm air makes contact with cold ducts. A dehumidifier can help maintain your home's indoor humidity below or around 50%, minimizing moisture buildup. The thickness of floor insulation will depend on the R-value you plan to achieve. R-value varies on the type of material as well as its thickness and density. Insulation materials with low R-values can be layered to match the value of denser materials. As long as your floor insulation is packed tightly, seals the area from drafts, and doesn’t prevent ventilation, it can be as thick (or thin) as you need.

In some areas, insulation companies require a special license, while some states only require them to hold general contractor licenses. Some municipalities may not mandate any license, although you should always ensure a contractor is fully insured. A vapor barrier keeps moisture out of the crawl space, while insulation reduces the amount of unconditioned air—and sometimes moisture—that enters the space. Coupling a vapor barrier with insulation can help prevent humidity and related moisture damage in a crawl space while also making your home more energy-efficient. Just be sure to use insulation that won’t get damaged from moisture, like rigid foam board or expanding spray foam insulation.

You can insulate an existing garage door. But while it’s a cost-effective option upfront, it may not perform as well as a garage door that comes with insulation. If you live in a colder climate—or if you plan on working in your garage and need a new door—you should purchase one with existing insulation for better efficiency.
