"I am beyond thankful to have hired Fresh Layers. I needed the interior of my entire house painted prior to moving in. Eric’s work is so amazing, it really blew my mind. His work is meticulous and honestly, there aren’t enough positive words in the dictionary to express how happy I am. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional who does high quality work at a very reasonable price."

"Brendon replaced my kitchen subfloors and put a new linoleum, full trim all the way around, a bathroom bifold, and even put a special touch to the trim, so I'd think of my late farther who had worked in that same kitchen many moons ago. Brendon had some challenges with old school techniques, but worked long and hard to end with flooring, trim and doorway that was beautiful and I was pleased with the outcome."

Small jobs welcome

"Scott was hired to paint the interior of a single wide trailer. He painted every room of the trailer in a neat and professional manner. He did a great job and cleaned up all of the trash after the job was finished. I highly value hiring someone I can trust and Scott is a very honest, trustworthy and conscientious worker - he wants to deliver his best efforts always. Scott was a great communicator and kept me informed on the progress throughout the job and he inquired about my preferences on unexpected issues that came up during the job so that the solution was to my liking. I would recommend Scott to anyone."

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

It’s usually possible to install a playground yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Playground construction can be complicated and involves moving large, heavy, and bulky components into place while you affix them to other pieces. Not only is the work physically demanding, but any mistakes could reduce the lifespan of your playground and potentially put any children who use the equipment at risk of injury. It’s relatively inexpensive to hire a professional playground installer, and it’s usually worth the investment, if only for the peace of mind it provides.

Material markup costs and labor expenses are the additional primary costs of hiring a playground installer over building your own set. Labor costs are typically less costly than some more specialized home improvement projects. DIY swing set construction is less expensive than professional installation but will take considerably more time and effort to perform.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.

DIY is possible for small sets. Professional installation ensures safety and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
