I had purchased a 1995 Lexus SC300 the year before and when the AC stopped working the following summer, I took it to Graeves. They added Freon and told me to try this first to see if the small leak would seal rather than put in a costly new condensor, which I was prepared to do. I appreciated their honesty, as I have over the past 20 years with my other cars - all Jaguars. They always give me the least costly way to repair a car and will advise you if it is still may be under dealership warranty before they would fix it. I wouldn't take any car elsewhere. Honest and Trustworthy.

It was excellent, like I always say they do an excellent job. I get my oil changed every 5,000 miles. They have done major mechanical work for me in the past, brakes and when the engine light came on they had to replace some parts and they gave me a good price. I thought that they were very fair. They are also a GE appliance company, so they sell appliances as well. We bought our refrigerator from them. Good price, service, very professional delivery and set-up. I would use them again.

I had a tire problem. I walked in as a first-time customer. It was late in the day. They were quite busy but found time to get me back up and running within 20 minutes. The service was great and the cost was way less than I would have guessed it would be. This company is amazing. They deserve your business. I chose them because of their location but will be using them again because of their values.

I called Graeve's Auto on a Wednesday evening to have the clutch on my car repaired. I was so grateful that they were able to do the repair the next day. I had to have my car towed to their station after hours and to leave the key in the key slot. I didn't hear from them by 9:30 the next morning, so I called to see when they would be able to do the repair. I didn't expect them to jump right on it. After all, they did fit me in on short notice. They told me they would be able to take a look at it by 2pm. I received a call from them at about 2:30pm. I was told what repair needed to be made and how much it would cost. The total price also included the cost of the tire. I was truly expecting the total cost to be around a thousand dollars. I know clutch work can be expensive. Then there was the cost of a new tire, plus balancing, etc. I know what I paid for a new tire two years ago. I was afraid they would charge me more, but the price was a few dollars less. The work was completed Friday afternoon. I was not aware of this until I got home from work. For some reason they called my home phone instead of my cell phone. I picked my car up Saturday morning. I didn't have to wait long to check out. So far, regarding the repair work, everything seems to be fine. I thought their service was very good. I talked to at lease three different people and everyone was courteous, professional and friendly.

They are very polite, and they take care of my car in a timely manner. They have a lot of mechanics on site. They do what they say they are going to do, but unlike the dealers, they do not up-sale you into things that you do not need.

They are family owned and a really nice business. Their prices are reasonable.

They were very honest and I have been there a few times. I actually went to them because I had a fine inspection place that I went to in Silver Spring and I needed $700.00 of repair work. I heard about these guys and I took my car to them and they said it was $60.00 of repair work, I need. They saved us $700.00, as we were going to take the estimate from the first mechanic. After that I said it was great and I have been there three weeks ago. They did the work within the estimate. They were professional and prompt. I was able to get the car within a day.

Two days after getting the rotation done, she was driving to school heard a very loud noise. The faster she was driving the louder it became. She pulled over off the highway and called Graeves. They sent out a tow truck as soon the truck arrived the driver told her instantly the issue was that one of the tires was missing 3 lug nuts. He proceeded to show her that the tire was moving freely back and forth and that she was lucky she pulled over because the wheel could have fallen off at any time. Graeves assured her they do a thorough inspecting and test everything, but this seems like a blatant thing to miss especially for something so easy to do. Graeves paid for the tow, which was only about $50, but was unapologetic about the whole incident. She lost over 2 hr and missed her classes for the day.

They took the tire, and although I had to call them back about it, when I picked it up they not only didn't charge me for the patch, they placed it back in the spare well and examined the other tires to make sure the new tire that had replaced the flat one was not showing significantly less wear than the three other tires.

They definitely fixed the car and I'appreciate their help. Still I would like some interaction with the mechanic. I still have some irritating vibration at about 60 mph,and it would be nice to have the mechanic do a test drive. Unfortunately this shop is 10 miles from the nearest highway. So getting a road test is unlikely..

They took my flat tire in immediatly and offered to fix it in 15 minutes. While they fixed it, I went across the street and got groceries. Upon my return, I waited about 8 minutes in their cozy waiting area while they put the tire back on. Since I have hand problems, I also asked them to check the pressure on all tires. The spare was placed back onto it's special place and the jack put back into it's place. When I went to pay my bill, they did not charge me and said Happy New Year! I just moved to Olney so am glad to have found a reputable auto place so quickly. My neighbors also highly recc them, they have lived there 19 yrs.

They have been taking care of our cars for 20 years. They are competent, honest and reasonable priced.

The quality of service is high. They do good work.

I called Graeves, described the problem, and asked them to tow the car to their shop and check it out. The service writer suggested that he would like to come, to my house, and check out the car before committing to the cost for the tow. He arrived at the agreed upon time, which was about two hours after my original phone call, got the car started and diagnosed a dead (old) battery in my driveway. He made a service appointment for me that afternoon and I dropped off the car for installation of a new battery. I also got an oil change at the same time and picked up the car the same afternoon. They offered to fix it while I waited, but I chose to collect the car at the end of the day. I have used Graeves Auto and Appliance dozens of times for simple to complex auto service and repair, as well as tires. I could not be more satisfied with every aspect of the work and the experience at each of those visits. Of all the various service providers I have employed for any type of work over the past six years, Graeves Auto and Appliance ranks as absolutely the best of them all.

Graeves towed the car from the impound lot to their garage and within a day had an estimate to us. Gave us their expert opinion on whether it was even worth it to repair the car. The repair time and estimate were exactly right. It was a bad experience that had a happy ending, thanks to Graeves.
