They are good. I use them all the time.

They are fabulous. I smashed my car on a rock in the front. Somebody left a big rock in the road. So they fixed the outer needs of my car. It was $2000 but that was insurance. I like their service but I feel like they could clean out your car and use mats which they don't do that anymore. I have used them for 20 years and they are still my favorite. I can not say I would change ever. They came and got the car and they are very professional. The work turned out great. I have been there for 20 years and they are usually great. 

Very impressed with the ability to get my car in for service - dealer was requiring me to wait almost two weeks for an appt. Dropped car off at 8:15 am -- Technician called me around noon stating the car was ready for pickup. First time using Graeves (recommended by co-worker) - will definitely return!! Was also to use 5% Angie,s List coupon :-)

Purchased 4 new tires, road hazard warranty, and a four wheel alignment. Called on a Friday morning and they had the tires in later that afternoon. Customer service is excellent. I dropped off ~7:30 AM on a Saturday (no appointments are taken on Saturdays), prepared to hang out in the waiting area. Was immediately offered a ride home! As expected, they called later letting me know that my rear brake pads were very close to the end of their life. I agreed, and let them know that I already had the parts and was going to repair them myself. They were good with that and did not pressure me. Good to know that they are looking out for needed repairs and not scaring the bejesus out of customers about unneeded repairs. They called to let me know that the car was done about 10:30 AM. The invoice: I knew the cost of the tires, alignment, and road hazard up front. I saw that they had a March Madness special for $20 off a set of 4 tires ($200 minimum) and free mounting, so I brought in the coupon when dropping off. I asked how the alignment went and was told, "good." I did not receive the before and after specs of the alignment measurements, so I guess I will have to trust that it was actually done. Trust is a hard thing to come by these days with all of the alternate facts floating around. Other part charges included valve stem service (I have TPMS on the vehicle), high speed balancing, and a per tire recycling fee (state charge). Labor charges included the alignment, tire removal fee, and the road hazard warranty. I do not know how much I saved on the free mounting of the tires, as only - $20.00 was noted as the coupon amount. Not a bad experience. I want to support local shops, so decided to try them out instead of the chains or going the Tirerack route. While I know I could have probably saved a few bucks somewhere else, their customer service is pretty hard to beat. I would have scored them an A if I received the before and after measurements of the alignment. The previous set of tires did not have any bizarre wear on them, but knowing if the alignment was out of whack and contributing to abnormal tire wear (or not) would have been helpful.

I've been using this shop for the past 20 years. I feel the owner, Scott Graeves, is trustworthy and his staff completes great work.  They really go out of their way to take the time to explain things to me.

The pricing was reasonable and the service was fast. My interaction with them was very positive. The work was just fine. It's an excellent local car repair shop.

Took my van in for an oil change, the provider offers an safety inspection as part of the service.  I was not surprised when they called to inform me that two of my tires were in need of replacement, and that both front and rear brakes needed replacement.  Replacing the rotors was necessary (the van is over 10 years old and rotors do wear out, again not surprised).  The rear pads had finally worn out and gouged the drums so replacing those had to occur as well.  
In short, Graeves did not surprise me when they called with the additional work.  i had evaluated my van before taking it in and figured these things would come up.  I am pleased that the items I was concerned about were identified and called to my attention.  The work was performed quickly and I had my van back in a couple of days minimizing my having to do without a vehicle.  
I will use these guys again, and I have trusted my Daughter's car to them as well.  They stand behind their work.

I had intermittent issues with my Toyota's battery light turning on while driving and determined the cause to be an alternator issue.  As an Olney resident, I usually take my car to the big service station in town (which itself is great) - but with the issue arising on a Saturday and the first available service appointment the service station had being the following Thursday, I began to cast my net wider, and checked out Graeves' reputation.  When I called Graeves to inquire if they would be able to look at an alternator problem, they said that they could look at it, and most likely repair, that very day.  I was in the car on my way to Graeves five minutes later.
I could not have been happier: they indeed diagnosed and confirmed the problem was the alternator straightaway, and they had it fixed in two hours' time, and they kept in regular contact throughout.  Friendly and super-helpful staff, and the price was in-line with what I would have expected from the service station across the way.  I have since rented a U-Haul van from Graeves, and it similarly was among the most pleasant rental experiences I have ever had, and much less hassle than going to a bigger U-Haul center.
These guys will be my first stop from hereon out.  Thanks so much for getting me back on the road safely as quickly as you did.

In terms of honesty, quality of work, and pricing, I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have a truly unique set-up, in that they service automobiles AND appliances, but they're family-owned and always treat their customers very well. They've got my loyalty, that's for sure!

I've been going to Graeves for the past 15 years, and I'd highly recommend them.  They charge reasonable prices, they complete work quickly, and they have a very nice lounge area with drinks and cookies while I wait.

The workers are very good. They had the car for three days. The waiting room is okay. They are responsive and  are honest. They are fair priced. I don't get the feeling that they will sell extra things the car doesn't need.

I took my car, which had not been driven much for about a year, to Graeves to give it a quick 'once over' to make sure it was safe to drive (I was giving it to my sister, and she would be driving about 5 hours to get it home). They found it needed brakes (not a surprise) and that it could benefit from a number of other relatively minor things. They were honest, and told me the car would OK without some of the other work, just suggested my sister take care of those items after getting it home. Everyone I dealt with, on the phone and in person, were friendly, professional. I will definitely use their services again.
