Levelift Systems was founded in 1991 by Mr. Paul Mauer. Over the next twenty-three years, Mr. Mauer developed a highly respected specialty foundation contracting company, serving the State of Maryland. Unfortunately, Mr. Mauer died tragically in 2014. Levelift Foundations, LLC was formed as a means of keeping the core of Levelift Systems together and continuing to be a leading installer and foundation designer, for the CHANCE helical pier system, in the state of Maryland. "This one-star rating is generous! We are seven weeks into a four-day job at our house! The have been back three times to finish the job and it is still not done. My back yard is a mud pit! I have been informed by the "office" that it will take two more weeks before I can be put on the schedule for a crew to come back. The crew is working from their Lancaster office, and the managers won't return phone calls and are hiding behind the receptionist. I work just a few miles from their Lexington office, so I decided to pop in and talk to a different person only to find out that there is no staff in this office. The website for the Lexington office has a picture of the building and posted hours of 9 am to 6 pm, but it is just a building with mailboxes and a few shared meeting rooms used by several companies. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Think twice before hiring USS!"

A stamped concrete slab can last for around 50 years or more with proper care, although you’ll likely have to carry out repairs after around 25 years. Concrete is a highly durable material that stands up well to the elements, so stamped concrete is an outstanding option for a long-lasting landscaping feature that’s a bit more ornate than a standard concrete slab. Ensure your slab is the right thickness and is reinforced properly to avoid cracking. Hiring a professional will ensure your stamped concrete lasts for as long as possible.

Costs range from $3 to $12 per square foot, depending on the type of finish, overlay, or coloring applied.

In most cases, you are good to stamp the concrete one or two hours after you pour it, but perform the thumb test mentioned above. You want the concrete to be dry enough so the stamps don’t sink, but wet enough that the stamps make a successful imprint. In general, this is a tricky question, as it also depends on the weather outside, the time of day, and the size of the poured concrete slab.
