"Sign contract April 4th 2025 was told would take two to three weeks this job was removing pressure treated and replacing with composite material we picked out samples from local building material outlet and showed so-called supervisor what we wanted was told he would be ordering them funny thing where we got the samples all items were in stock at least a week delay items had to be special ordered what we were told another special order for the railings another week delay called or message several times to correct mistakes July 4th is just around the corner job is still not complete"

He was up front about what could be done, how long it would take, his prices were reasonable and I was thrilled that I could have any color cabinets I wanted. "The repaired and painted surfaces look pretty good. Estimated for two weeks, the job took seven, partly excusable due to a covid surge. The crew neglected to protect a living room floor that had been in good condition, necessitating laborious cleaning for which the company compensated us about 30% of fair cost. Mr Peters told us that we were getting "carried away" and that no one in his experience had complained of similar floor damage. The crew left the house unlocked overnight repeatedly despite our complaints. The crew lost our key, for which Mr Peters agreed to reimburse us, but he did not believe us that the key fit seven locks and offered to pay for just two. The carpentry work included trim and access panels. The carpenter installed one of the access panels in the wrong location. The company might have fixed the mistake, but we asked them to leave it for reasons unrelated to the work. The job ran over budget, we were told, and Mr Peters offered to honor the high "worst case" end of the estimated range. We negotiated in good faith about the damages but were met with skepticism and gaslighting."
