They were amazing. They came in and did the work that I asked them to do and also went above and beyond to fixed other things that needed to be fixed. They were very efficient, cleaned up great, and it only took them a couple of hours to get it all done.

I left a detailed voice message along with my name and number (twice) and did not even get the courtesy of a response. Jolt will be removed from my list of electricians for future work Since writing this review I subsequently received a call from John of Jolt who said he did call me back and left a message. I never received this call so perhaps he called wrong number - in any case I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and withdraw my earlier review of non responsiveness.

It went great. No complaints

We use Jolt whenever we need electrical work done. He gave me an estimate over the phone and we scheduled a date for the work. One of his workers came and installed the box. He was very professional. One small problem was that he installed the box too high in the fireplace. I was not there when he located the box so I couldn't correct it then. I called John and told him about the problem and he personally came by and relocated the box. The electrical inspector came and approved the job. John's price was higher than his estimate so we negotiated a price okay with both of us. I would use Jolt again.

John, the owner, came out to the house to provide an estimate. he was punctual, professional, very polite. I wanted new GFI outlets in the basement because of a new sump pump and dehumidifier and also wanted to add another one to another location in the basement. Upstairs, I wanted a new light switch installed in the kitchen to make it more convenient to where the lights were located and also to re-arrange a set of 4 switches to make them more logical as to which lights they turned on. He was prompt with his email estimate and prompt in answering my email questions. The day of the job, his associate showed up right on time (7AM!) and started the work, John came in sometime later and helped finish it off. Work was outstanding, they cleaned up and everything came out the way I wanted it to. I think the price was reasonable. Turned out John had worked for my next door neighbor previously who also spoke highly of him. I'd use JOLT again.

John gave me the solution he thought would work best for my under cabinet lighting, and now that it is in I agree. I give him an A+ for the three P's: professional, punctual and personable. He always responded quickly and followed up. The job was done in two pieces over two separate days. John would arrive and introduce his team and would stay, working with his guys, and didn't leave until he felt the job was well in hand. His team were equally professional. The lighting looks seamless to the cabinet with no sloppy cuts or hanging wires either in my kitchen or in my basement. They left my home completely neat and clean and didn't leave their trash behind for me to take care of. While his was not the cheapest bid, I feel I definitely got my money's worth and will use him again for my next electrical job.

I would highly recommend Jolt to anyone that needs electrical work at a fair price. Actually a company that's not out to rip you off or talk down to you. There was no high pressure to sell me anything other than work requested. The owner John was called on Wednesday. He very very polite and professional. The work was completed the very next day. No long wait times to get an appointment! I figured, as with most companies they make you wait days to schedule an appointment. Not Jolt!! I was very pleased with their attentiveness and left the work areas clean of any debris.

It went excellent. He came when he said he would. After extensive looking he found and fixed the issue. He also rewired a light in my hallway that was not working for a while. This was an additional request that he did happily.

Everything went absolutely fantastic. After 2 other electricians no-showed for a meeting, I called JOLT Electric...and I am glad I did. The owner came out the next day (exactly on-time) and looked over the work I wanted to do. We talked about a lot of electrical work, much more than I actually had done at this time. The next day he emailed me an estimate for the work I decided to get done now and he gave me some good pointers for the future work. The estimate looked very reasonable to me, so I emailed him (on a Saturday) asking about his availability. He scheduled me in on the following Tuesday at 7 am. On Tuesday, they showed exactly on-time and ready to get to work. They laid down drop clothes in the work area and kept things very clean. They worked straight through, knocking out one job after another. In the end, everything looks good and works great.

Immediate response, very professional, cannot recommend highly enough. great experience,could not have been better in any way. very happy that I found JOLT - clearly a business run by an owner who takes the work very seriously and is customer oriented

I have a 100 year old house with some circuits on fuses and some on a panel. I have been looking for an electrician since the one I had retired. I finally found the right one.

When the owner came out to look at what needed to be done, he pointed things on my list that were not necessary, which I appreciated.

Great job. Easy single circuit replacement to fix power. Issue with condensation on the master breaker. Provided quote with options next day. Highly recommend.

We were going to have our attic space insulated and we wanted to add some additional lighting before having the insulation done. John, the owner, was great about communication with me either by phone or email. He arrived on time and did an inspection to confirm that there was no knob and tube in our unit. He and his crew were very professional and offered good suggestions about where to place the lighting. When his crew came back to do the work they arrived one time and ready to work. They completed the work on time and it looks great and went above and beyond what was needed.. The only real complaint was a small issue with scheduling, but that was not a big deal. Overall I'd use Jolt again in the future.

They came to upgrade our thermostat and furnace to circulate air it was only setup for heat. Ran new wiring and made sure that he left connections for central air if we ever chose to upgrade. House was much college this summer cause we could keep air moving.

He did a great job, cleaned up after his work was done. It didn't take long for John to install the outlet under the sink. I have to say it again, he did a great job, I highly recommend. I call Jolt Electric again for all my electrical services.

The main item I needed was an outdoor electrical receptacle. Work was done well, cleanly and am satisfied with the end product. The owner John was very professional and was willing to survey other potential future work, provided estimates and options and did extensive troubleshooting to determine the problem with the kitchen exhaust. Cleanup after the outdoor/basement work and with the kitchen fan was thorough. Pleased and satisfied with their responsiveness, their work and their professionalism. Had not received any other quotes for the outdoor receptacle work which is why I assigned it a B as for that reason I do not know how their pricing matches up with other providers.

I called John on a Friday and on the following Monday he came out to scope the job and actually completed the work in that same visit. He was punctual, professional, and did a great job at a reasonable price!

John and Chris were punctual and worked quickly and efficiently . Everything was explained to me and all of my questions were answered thoroughly and clearly. They did a great job and cleaned up completely when they were done. I would definitely recommend Jolt to my friends and family and will certainly call John again with any and all electrical needs.

I haven't seen him since! I'm assuming he decided the job was too hard, but it would be nice if he called.

Firstly when they arrived to do the job the supervisor walked right past my outstretched hand. It was as if I was not even there. listenWhile doing the job they did not even put down a drop cloth onthe new hardwood floors that were just installed. I kept on hinting to put aomething on the floor but again he did not seem to care or listen. While they were installing the microwave outlet I reminded them on the exhaust fan installation and the helper then said that they only have the microwave outlet on the work sheet. The way it was said it was if they were not going to do it as they did not have it on the work sheet. The supervisor then called the owner who obviously told him to do it. I would like to add that a few days before the owner came over to look at the job and he said tome that he would do it for $360. This to me was not an estimate as he said "I will do it for $360". Afterwards the supervisor came to me and said that the cost was $520 but they would do it for $400. They told me that they had run in to unexpected problems. I should have been explained that this was an estimate and not "I will do it for $360". I found that the supervisor and helper did not act appropriately and the owner was wrong in the way he gave me the quote.

I was impressed that the electrician offered to tell me how to fix the problem. That is an example of excellent customer service.

This was a small job and could have been refused by other electricians. When my husband talked to John on the phone he suggested things to try. "I don't want you to spend the cost of a needless service call", he said. We tried the things he suggested and, unfortunately, they did not work. This narrowed the problem down to a faulty ballast. We set up an appointment and he and Jay arrived on schedule. They were both friendly and easy to talk with from the moment they came in the door. John brought the needed ballast with him so it was a quick and efficient install. They even swept our floor and offered to put our ladder away. We would definitely call them again for any electrical work we needed done.

John came to my house for an estimate, he gave us a few different options and price points for the recessed lighting. We hired him for the job and we were extremely happy with the results. We receive compliments on his work all the time, and will be using him as our electrician going forward.
