"My family and I hired Jeff as our General Contractor to oversee the construction of our 1500 sq. ft. summer home. It was the best decision we made regarding this project. Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He was attentive to our design requests and of our vision for this home, while providing his expertise in all phases of construction from site work, foundation, framing, siding and roofing, stairs, and all interior finished work – including installing wood molding trim, doors, closets shelves, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, all of which he does himself. Jeff hired and coordinated reputable subcontractors required to complete the project on schedule, and met all of his commitments regarding price, quality of materials, and high standard of professionalism and quality construction. "The project was twofold. The sunroom needed three new sliders after damage from frozen pipes. Harold’s men installed the doors but made a mess of the casing on all three. Unevenly matched etc. Harold attempted to fix it. The second project was two remove clapboards on back of house and replace with shingling. He also suggested that the kitchen casement window needed replacing. We paid $1042.00 for the window. He never came back. We waited 6 months and I contacted him. He assured me he would have the window installed. He was a no show. I’ve made several attempts to get him to finish the job. We went through a cold winter and he had left the shingling open around the kitchen window. He also never installed the outside light on the back of the house after removing it for work. I fired him and yet he tells me he doesn’t have the money. I am short of going to small claims court. People beware!"
