Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. Everything had to be square, solid, and actually work, with no contractor to hand it off to.\n\nThe day-to-day work looks like this: furniture assembly, TV and shelf mounting, drywall patching and paint, light fixture and faucet swaps, doors that stick or won't latch, small carpentry, and general repairs around the house. I also do my own welding and automotive work, so odd metal fixes and mounting problems don't scare me off.\n\nI bring my own tools, show up when I say I will, and clean up after myself.
