"It all started out well after purchase of the initial Angie's list deal.  We promptly agreed on a date and a gentlemen came to measure and start the paperwork. Install date was set for 11/5/15. On 11/4, I was called about setting an install date.  My response was I already had one for the next day. Long story short, the company did not bother to tell me they had cancelled my appointment, they just acted like I never had one.  It was as though one side of the business did not know what the other side was doing. Since I made arrangements to be home on the 5th, I was not happy.  We finally settled on the 12th and the installation went smoothly enough.  However after completion, I noticed the installers had broken a piece of moulding in front of the patio door.  I know they realized they cracked it because they used clear caulk as a fix. I called the company and they said they would replace.  As of 11/30, the moulding still has not been replaced even though I was told the installer was picking up molding on 11/17.
I will say the person who came to measure and the lady who did the follow-up calling were professional. However, I can't say the same for the install side. The contact person was nice enough but he did not contact me to say the install was cancelled and to me it's taking way too long to replace the molding the installers broke.  I view it as a lack of integrity to cover up breaking the piece and not bothering to say anything to me.  The patio door is beautiful and I had planned to purchase a front door from them but have changed my mind.

"My kitchen and bathroom renovations are in process. United Home Solutions was willing to step into renovations in process when the first contractor could not continue. The carpentry team is well along with installation of cabinets, trim and baseboards and will build custom shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. They worked with me to choose trim compatible with original trim in my 1860 clapboard home and it looks great! The board and plaster team closed up the remaining spaces with smooth walls. The countertop team and painter have been scheduled. These are good people to work with on a project that has endless decisions in my older home as they discuss the possibilities and know how to implement decisions reached."

"Overall, we were pleased with Patio Enc. The positives are that the room looks fantastic, the install crew was great as was the staff back at the office. Unfortunately, there were multiple issues caused by the sales person who was not professional in manner, appearance or follow through that caused our project to get pushed out by a month. Ultimately, they came back and fixed all problems and communication went smoothly. Other than the sales person, Patio Enc. were consumate professionals that truly did a wonderful job of correcting the issue and meeting our timeline. A superior product for a much lower price, too (by nearly half)."

"I am pleased to submit a positive report for Conway General Contracting. Dan and Chris did a couple of small jobs in my condo unit and some much larger jobs for the 5 unit brownstone I own a unit in. In my unit, they replaced a track light and repaired my bathroom sink. I'm so happy to have both of these problems solved!! The larger jobs included replacing a very warped, rusted, and worn basement door, installing several outdoor lights, and some masonry repair. I think their prices are fair and the work is very good. I also appreciate that they will give options re: proposed repairs. It's nice to feel as if you can choose how and what work is to be done. The day of the job, Project Supervisor Marc arrived early and went over the entire job with the crew.
