"I wish the deck had been better cleaned before painting, specifically the small acorns and twigs in the cracks Now when we remove them it takes some of the paint off leaving an opening for moisture to permeate the wood. You’ll need to carefully angle your grinder to accommodate the curves in the wood, and aim to remove around 1 inch from the profile of the molding.
