Great job and was fast at a reasonable price

John rebuilt my fence and built an a nice shed shed. Always on time and provided quality workmanship. The pride he takes in his work is evident and is quick to compliment himself. He lacks in customer service: demanding, demeaning,, critical. antagonistic, treats women as objects and easy to anger (missed phone call). Have hired other handymen w/o incident but I wish Id never hired him. Handymen shouldnt yell/rant at you, constantly touch you (and swat your rear w/a notepad) and never provide you w/receipts...question why you want them. Total scam artist, dont hire.

I hired JGR Contractors to work on multiple projects I had around my home. They fixed my vinyl siding which was damaged during a storm. They leveled, re-enforced, and painted my oversize deck, replaced a broken drain pipe from my gutters, and replaced a rotted wooden kick plate under my slider. John was professional, courteous, honest, and upfront through the whole experience and his pricing is more than fair for the top quality work he provides. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

John did an amazing job removing an old aluminum frame shower door and installing a new beautiful frameless glass door. Several contractors had said the job was almost impossible and that it would involve tearing out the shower walls. Well, i took a chance on John, who came to look at it and spent a lot of time determining what was needed. He removed the old frame and door with no damage at all to existing shower walls. We chose a door and John ordered it, picked it up and brought it to my condo to install. It was a difficult job but John figured everything out and the new door fits perfectly and adds a modern look to my bathroom. He had to find new screws to work with the shower walls and spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect. I will be hiring John again to now add tiles inside the shower because I trust him to treat me right pricewise and do a fantastic professional job. I would hire John for any type work. I will be showing off my new door to my neighbors and recommending John for any work. John truly cares about the quality of his work and always wants to make sure the customer is happy. I am a very happy and satisfied customer.

I hired John to chalk paint two vanities for my home in Santa Rosa Beach. After seeing the fantastic job he did on that, I asked him to chalk paint an additional vanity, 3 mirrors, and a cabinet. They look wonderful and gave my bathrooms a brand new look! John was professional, returned calls promptly, and worked hard to meet my quick timeline. Since I am out of state, he sent many pictures during the process to keep me up to date. Additionally, he rehung doors, secured moldings, and reinstalled toilets and vanities. I would certainly use him again. His skills are varied and top notch.

John did an excellent exterior home paint job and replaced rotted walkway and outdoor shower wood floor boards. He is a true professional, completes projects in a timely manner, and communicates as the job progresses. I highly recommend him from his workmanship to his professionalism. John also replaced the plumbing valves for our exterior hot water heater. He did an excellent job in a timely manner. His workmanship was better than any plumber I've used in the past. We will use John for any further maintenance issues or repairs for our home.

Jay was hired to paint our deck at our beachfront home in Seagrove. He started the project on time and worked continuously to finish on a deadline. After a mesh was installed on the railing, he returned to touch up paint on our deck at no charge. He is very knowledgeable in his trade and helped me choose the appropriate paint to withstand the harsh elements of the gulf. He takes great pride in his work and he went above and beyond my expectations. His assistant Shari was also very nice and helpful. Most importantly, they kept their work area clean and tidy. I now have a beautiful deck, thanks to Jay and Shari.

I have an Anderson storm door which was not compatible with my front door keyless lock because the handle for the storm door would hit the lock. Home Depot sold me both doors and the lock but sent an installer that didn't care. Home Depot tried to make it right by building out the door frame. This did make the handle and lock clear but the cannister would only allow the door to open to the width for a normal. On the built out door this means the only way to have the door open a normal space is to disable the cannister. Then if the wind is strong it blows the door full open and crashes against the house. Eventually, both the cannister and the door handle broke. Anderson replaced the parts for free and John came to install. He spent the time to analyze the problem, and did an excellent job of installing the new parts. John is always on time or a few minutes early. He explains the problem and offers several solutions. I would recommend calling John for any project.

John conducted himself in a very professional and courteous manner. He is a perfectionist and makes sure the job is completed not only to the customer satisfaction but meets HIS high standard also. Job was completed in a very timely fashion and I was kept informed as the job progressed. I highly recommend this contractor for any home repairs or new installs you may require. John and his helper did an excellent job, he helped me find the right color which looks absolutely beautiful. He also touched up my white doors and other areas of the house where needed. He helped me with another project as well. I would not hesitate to call John in the future should I need him and I do highly recommend him for many jobs as he is multi talented in home care!

John did an excellent job repairing, cleaning and staining my decks. He delivered everything as promised and at exactly the price estimated leaving the excess stain for me to use for touch up if needed later. They are 28 years old and look almost new now. Thanks John...good job

John did some exterior painting for us, along with a couple other small jobs. He was punctual and always kept us informed as to his schedule and the manner in which was going to tackle the jobs. We had to match paint already on the house and he went above and beyond to get the right match. He is a very caring person and completed the work to our satisfaction.
