Family owned and operated general construction and remodeling company serving the area since 2003.
"Very poorly. They left a mess. Total disaster. I would never recommend this company. Patches of unpainted sections of the house exist. I’m speaking with attorneys to file a law suit against them along with Rhino Shield the company that subcontracted them. Nothing good to say about both companies."

During the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking extra precautions with your health and safety in mind. Please call us today for more details. New England Closets offers closet design solutions in Woburn and the greater Eastern Massachusetts area. We have over 7 years of experience upgrading our Massachusetts customers homes. In addition to traditional reach-in and walk-in closets, our Closet Works Inc. line offers solutions for offices, mudrooms, garages, and guest rooms. Plus, our ShelfGenie line will continue to offer great solutions for kitchen pantries for food storage and accessibility and other areas that can benefit from pull-out shelves
"We hired New England Closets to upgrade a walk-in closet, a pantry and some kitchen cabinets in our new home. We had downsized and needed to make our storage as efficient as possible. From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. Heather, our closet designer, came to the house to take measurements and learn about our needs. At the end of her visit, Heather showed us a computer-generated image of how the new closet would look. The design was much better than what we had in mind! Then Jeff came to evaluate our kitchen and pantry and make suggestions on improvements using their Shelf Genie products. We agreed to go ahead with both projects. When the materials were ready, Gerard, the installer, called to make an appointment that was convenient for us. When he arrived, the first thing he did was to put drop cloths anywhere he would be walking. During the installation, Gerard asked several questions to be sure that everything would be just the way we wanted. When the installation was complete, he took the time to show us how it all worked and he explained about the lifetime warranty. After putting away his tools, he came back in with a vacuum – you would never know that anyone had been working there! The quality of the materials and the workmanship is outstanding, much better than we expected. The two projects were reasonably priced and everyone at New England Closets was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. We always like to work with local companies rather than big national chains, and this is why. When friends come to our new home for the first time and ask for a tour, the ladies spend so much time admiring the closets, that I have to go back to see if they got lost! When a walk-in closet and a pantry become the highlights of the 50-cent tour, that says a lot about the quality of the design and product!"

DeJesus Industries USA is a residential & commercial home, kitchen, and bathroom design and company servicing all of Eastern Massachusetts. The company was founded and is headed by the young blood local Alberto DeJesus. Alberto DeJesus is a Framingham native and Boston University educated.
"Didn’t show up at my door until 3 months after taking the down payment. Requested all the money up front before stating the work so that they “prioritize” my job. Disappeared after releasing the money, and dragged things on u de different excuses for months, until finally asking me to pay them more than agreed sum to even continue to do any work. Never completed the job. Was able to get my money back by providing proof to the financial institutions through which I got financing for this project. But still a lot of aggravation along the way. This company is run by children running around pretending to be big boys. Stay away at all costs. Do not believe the positive reviews and absence of negative reviews. Most positive reviews are left by friends and family members. Cross reference between platforms, and pay attention to last names etc. They also get negative reviews removed, and then pretend that they don’t have any. Save yourself a headache and look for a real company!"

Building a custom closet costs about $2,000, on average. Because many types, sizes, and designs are available, the cost to build custom closets ranges from $250 to $6,000 or more. A reach-in closet is on the lower end of the price range from about $250 to $1,500, compared to a walk-in closet at $750 to $3,500 or a wardrobe at the high end between $1,500 and $6,000 or more.
The main difference between a closet and a wardrobe is that a closet is a separate room for general storage with its own door, and a wardrobe can be either built-in or freestanding place to store clothing. A walk-in or reach-in closet connected to a bedroom often serves the same purpose as a wardrobe by primarily storing clothes and shoes. A built-in wardrobe often does not have doors and leaves clothes exposed to view, whereas a standalone wardrobe usually has doors.
You may need a building permit to add a closet, depending on the size and kind of work required to install it. The most likely scenario requiring a permit involves changing the structure of the house and performing electrical work for closet lighting. A permit can cost between $100 and $450. If you’re installing a smaller reach-in closet, a permit may not be required, but always check with your local municipality and consult a closet designer or builder.
Different types of closets are defined mostly by size. A few different types of closets include:
A reach-in closet is a smaller closet that you can stand in front of and reach everything inside it. Aside from the size, the doors and the level of drywall finish are typically the largest price factors.
A walk-in closet can be anything from a small 5-by-5 feet closet that has a narrow walkway with shelves on both sides to a 100 square foot bedroom-sized closet with shelving along the walls and plenty of room to move around in.
A built-in wardrobe often does not have a door and leaves the clothes and other contents open to the room, whereas a closet usually has a door to separate it from the rest of the room.
Yes, building a custom closet can definitely add value to your home. Creating a more useful and pleasing space to your home, especially a custom closet for prospective home buyers to imagine as their own, is likely to increase the value. However, avoid overdoing it with a closet that takes up too much space that’s otherwise more useful as living space, or paying extra for overly lavish materials and finishes that aren’t likely to add more value than they cost.
