"Place is unorganized. Spoke to Leslie, scheduler about an heater issue. She shared with me the process, technician goes out, informs her of the issue & prices to fix, she informs the client. No of this happened with me, all I got was a $200 bill for brushes off debris to ensure connection. Said there was before and after photos .. none. After speaking with Mervin he stated it would have been better to replace instead of clean. So why not offer than instead of “brushing” debris and then wanting to charge me for replacement? Now Leslie is texting me saying Mervin still hasn’t be able to contact me. So disorganized and classic used car salesman tactic."

Check the connection of the vent to the wall for loose parts or lint that’s escaping the vent. Check the exterior exhaust vent for signs of damage or lint blockage. At a minimum, you should clean your dryer vent at least once a year. You may need to clean the dryer vent more often, such as every six months, if your dryer sees frequent or daily use. If you have young children or pets, you may need to clean the vent quarterly. 

There are a few signs that tell you it's time to clean your vent. If your clothes are very hot when they come out of the dryer or it's taking longer than usual for clothes to dry, the vents need cleaning.
