"I had Tarra and Doug come out and tear down fence I had that was in bad shape and needed replacing, I have 3 dogs that try and get out fence and dig. After speaking to them I decided to put a concrete ledge at bottom of fence to help with the digging of the dogs and it has help no problems of dogs getting out of yard. After fence was completed I ask if they would build me a walkway in the back area and it was completed and I love it. They are very professional clean up area everyday before they leave and employees seem very happy and professional. I’m very happy with all the work I have had done and will use them again and I recommend them for all services. I may have them put in a deck for the pool I maybe getting. Love links and logs all will use again. They take pride in the work they do and said if I have any problems with fence call them and they will fix it."

The most common causes of sunken pavers are poor base preparation and insufficient compaction. The problem could also be how your pavers were installed. If the soil beneath your patio or walkway wasn't compacted, it will pull pavers down as it settles. Additionally, using bare soil instead of making a paver bed with compacted gravel and sand can cause sinking over time. To fix sunken pavers, consider recompacting the base and addressing any drainage or erosion issues in the area.

An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.

Wet cutting is usually the preferred method. It controls dust, which helps protect your lungs and makes for a cleaner working environment. Plus, the water cools the blade, preventing overheating and prolonging its life while providing smoother, more precise cuts. The downside is the mess—water and asphalt sludge can be messy to clean. Dry cutting, though convenient if water isn’t available, creates a lot of dust, which can be harmful. This also increases the risk of blade damage due to overheating. In most cases, it is also recommended to lay a permeable sand layer below the pavers to ensure proper stability and drainage. Before starting, always take the proper preparatory steps for a professional result.

If pavers are uneven but not sunken, lift the affected bricks and check the bedding sand underneath. In many cases, simply smoothing out or adjusting the sand is enough to level them. Add or remove small amounts as needed, then press the pavers back into place and tap them with a mallet until they sit evenly with the surrounding surface.
