Owner Operated Sole Proprietor Costs by the Hour Travel Charges May Apply

"Extremely unreliable and unprofessional! We contacted them in April. They would not let us know when they were coming. They would say one day and then not show up. We wouldn't hear anything from them unless I called. Once they finally came the repair required a contractor first. We waited for them to contact a contractor for two months. Once we got a contractor his part was done in 2 days. Then we had to wait again for Bailey Plumbing to come do their part. I was told they would come on Wednesday, they never showed up, I called and was told they would come Thursday. I stayed home for several days waiting. Then when they showed up on Friday they sent a guy who took 3 hours to replace a faucet. Some other guys finally showed up to help him and he had done it all wrong. They had to take it apart and start over. One of them cut and burned my bathroom floor."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. If you can’t find the source, call a local plumber for expert help.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

There are a few things that can happen to your sewer system if you don’t fix it. These include rainwater entering it and causing rust and corrosion, dirt and debris leading to blockages, small animals getting stuck inside and clogging your sewer line or entering your home, and shortening the sewer system’s life span.

Without a cap, nothing prevents toxic and non-toxic gasses like methane and hydrogen sulfide from slowly escaping your sewer system and entering your home and the surrounding atmosphere, resulting in a foul sewer odor throughout your house.

This depends on the location of the blockage. If the blockage is in your home’s system, anywhere in the system, it is your responsibility as a homeowner. Blockages seldom happen because of items or buildup coming from the city, which means it originates in the home. It becomes the city’s responsibility at the exact point your home’s line distributes waste into the city’s system. The exception is if the problem in your home damages the city lines.

If you don’t have a sewer cleanout, clearing out clogs can be extremely difficult. You would need to try to clear the clog from sink drains, but it can be harder to reach the clog all the way in the drain line. A sewer cleanout makes it much faster and easier for pros to clear clogs from your main sewer line.
