We are from Louisiana, young and driven & went to college in Canada and started a painting company in Montreal, we have moved back to Louisiana after many years and are expanding down in Louisiana, we’re family owned and have great prices and are willing to go the extra step to satisfy our customers. Our prices are great and greatly reasonable for turn around for apartments or just regular maintenance such as drywall repair.

Mid-century modern design is quite colorful and often includes striking reds, ochre, bright yellows, and retro colors like aqua and mint greens and pinks. The degree to which you include bold colors in your mid-century modern design is all about personal preference. It may be possible to touch up with leftover paint, but don’t consider it Plan A. Even if the can is sealed, older paint may change color or consistency over time, especially if stored in fluctuating temperatures. Stir thoroughly and test in a discrete area first. If the paint looks noticeably different when dry, it’s better to get a fresh match using the code or color name on the can.

While you can paint brick or concrete pavers, you shouldn’t. Even with a matte finishing paint, it still creates a reflective surface where sunlight bounces off. This increases heat during summer months, making the pavers hard to walk on. The reflection can also damage your eyes. Finally, paint seals the pavers in the least desirable way and makes them impermeable, trapping water and moisture inside, which can cause other problems. Paint layers also chip easily.

If you’re choosing a finish with less enamel, it will be difficult to cover without a little extra elbow grease. Sand a layer of the satin paint off first before going in with the eggshell finish. That way, the eggshell paint will have a better chance of adhering to the surface and will likely last longer.

A foam roller or a roller with a very short nap will give you the smoothest finish, especially when working with glossy paints. Thicker rollers will leave a slight texture on the wall, and shiny paint will reflect light, highlighting the imperfections.
