"Raymond came to give me an estimate and had such concern that the steps I needed repaired were dangerous. He was not even sure if I would use him for the job but he insisted on securing the steps for safety. He said â I could not sleep at night worrying that someone might fallâ . So he pulled together some stuff from his truck to secure the steps before he left and this was on. a Saturday. Next day received a very reasonable bid to repair my steps completely. I missed the email and called Bo and she resent it. The same day that I accepted the bid, he came that evening at 530pm and used LED kites to see worked from about 615p til 1015 pm to get the job done minus a few boards that he will return and fix in a few days. All this done so quickly as was concerned for my safety and the safety of anyone using the steps. He was very kind and professional. I highly recommend him!!"

"They were here about 7:30 am every day. Even tried to work through a rain storm but I sent them home. They were here bright and early next day to finish the job. Could not ask for more dedicated crew, would recommend them to anyone. ð"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Liquid rubber is great for waterproofing, but it can damage your deck if it’s not applied correctly. First, it can trap moisture in the wood if the deck isn’t completely dry before application.  Second, applying it too thickly can create a heavy, rubbery surface layer that peels and cracks under fluctuating temperatures. For the best results, ensure the wood is completely dry before application, and apply the liquid rubber in thin, even coats. A quick inspection every now and then will help you catch any issues early, keeping your deck protected and looking its best.

Yes, they provide design insights that enhance space utility and visual appeal.

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer. Whitewash is very durable and typically requires little maintenance, making it a great project for most DIYers.

A concrete overlay is often the most cost-effective way to resurface a pool deck. To do this, you’ll need to pour a thin layer of concrete over the existing pool deck, which you can customize by stamping or painting. A stamped concrete overlay provides additional traction on a pool deck that can help minimize the risk of people slipping and falling.

Applying a sealer or topcoat after staining wood is highly recommended, though not always strictly required. A sealer protects the wood from moisture, UV rays, and weather-related issues, which is especially important for outdoor surfaces like decks and fences. It also enhances the stain's durability, prevents fading over time, and gives the wood a cleaner, more professional-looking finish. For some indoor applications, a sealer may not be necessary, depending on the type of stain used and the level of protection needed. It's always best to check the stain manufacturer's recommendations and consider the wood's intended use and exposure when deciding whether to apply a sealer.
