"We knew nothing about their refinishing and renewal process. Our engineered wood floors had suffered through the flood rebuild and having a tree destroy part of the house two years ago. Workers had virtually destroyed the wood floors. We took a chance on this process in lieu of replacing the flooring. The process lived up to everything we were promised! The floors look better than when they were brand new. The crew who performed the work arrived as promised and worked professionally during the process. They moved and replaced the furniture. We enthusiastically recommend them to refinish and renew wood flooring."

"Crown home improvement got the project done quickly and did a fantastic job. They built the wheelchair ramp just the way we wanted it. It was to provide access to our 5th wheel travel trailer and it needed to be built so that it could be moved when we wanted to travel with the trailer"

"5 Stars – Outstanding Work and Professionalism! I couldn’t be happier with the results from Tiger coating solutions ! From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable about their products. The floor coating turned out even better than I imagined—smooth, durable, and with a clean, high-end finish that totally transformed the space. They took the time to explain the process, kept everything neat and tidy, and finished right on schedule. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and reliable service. Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

To clean a subfloor after removing carpet, start by removing any leftover debris, such as stuck-on underlay, nails, or staples. Next, thoroughly vacuum the subfloor to eliminate dust, dirt, and loose particles. If adhesive residue remains, you can use an adhesive remover, a scraper, or a sander to gently lift it off. Finally, clean the surface by mopping or wiping it down with a damp rag and allow it to dry completely. This preparation is essential for ensuring new flooring adheres properly and to prevent bumps or wrinkles from forming.

You typically aren’t in any immediate danger if your floors are sagging, but that doesn’t mean you should leave them unattended. Sagging is likely a sign of underlying problems with the structure of your home, such as uneven subflooring or rotting joists. Have your floors inspected by a local carpenter as soon as possible to help you determine the type of repairs needed.

Because cork flooring has a low-impact feel and is water-resistant, it is a good choice for kitchens. It makes standing to chop vegetables and stir soup for long periods of time feel much easier on your feet and legs. But keep in mind that spills can cause cork to swell if they sit for too long, so if you’re a messy home chef, keep plenty of towels nearby to keep your cork floors in good condition.

These are two different questions. The most budget-friendly flooring option for a bathroom is waterproof luxury vinyl, but installing vinyl flooring is a fairly extensive DIY project best left to homeowners with a lot of confidence and experience. When you hire your local flooring company to do the hard work for you, you can focus on simply figuring out which type of floor will work best for your needs and stylistic preferences.

It’s better to lift and set down furniture; sliding it across the floor is more likely to cause damage to both the floor and the furniture itself. For very heavy items, consider using a dolly with rubber wheels. It is possible to purchase sliders designed specifically for gliding furniture across floors, but you still risk causing permanent damage to flooring if you use them.
