Small jobs welcome

"Shawn responded quickly to my request for a bid for replacing my carport asphalt roof. His turn around time with the bid was quick and when I called him to tell him I wanted to hire him for the project he told me he would get back with me soon. Again, his turn around time was quick. He completed the project in one day then called me to tell me he had completed the project and when could we meet to review his work. We met that night and reviewed his work then discussed the problems I knew about and what else he had found, as hidden problem areas. I was so satisfied with his work and that there was no mess to be found, so I paid him on the spot. He gave me another business card and I have already given it to a friend of mine. I not only would continue to use him but I will recommend him to others."

"Jack came to my house introduced himself and explained everything that he was going to do in full detail before he did the installation work around each of our windows. Jack answered every question without any hesitation while educating us about our window quality. Jack’s personality was amazing, comfortable and warming. This experience was overall great 10 out of 10."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

Mediterranean architecture comes from traditional building styles of countries on the Mediterranean Sea mixed with French, Greek, and Moroccan influences. There are three main types of Mediterranean architecture: Italian Renaissance, Spanish Revival, and modern.

Some signature components of Mediterranean architecture include red terra cotta roofs, archways, stucco siding, and metal detailing on windows. These homes often have balconies and outdoor living areas.

The process involves initial consultation, concept development, detailed planning, regulatory approvals, and integration of contractor work for project execution.

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.

You likely need to hire an architect for your new house design and build, unless you have the design skills and experience with building regulations and standards needed to get your plans approved. If you are able to meet the design requirements, you can hire a draftsperson to create the blueprints for the builders to follow.
