I got my start in the flooring business in 1995 and I've worked for several companies and individual contractors over the years. I branched off on my own around 2015. My services include the following. I've included the approximate charge for each type of floor and I don't usually charge for the usual prep work unless it's excessive. Currently I install carpet $3-$5yd (stretch in, glue down, carpet tiles, repairs), sheet vinyl $3-$5yd, ceramic tile $3-$5sqft(floors, back splash), and vinyl plank/laminate $1sqft (click lock, glue down). Quotes are always free and no job is too small. Quality installations at reasonable prices, guaranteed. Thank you!

"We were in a tight timing situation and needed someone as soon as possible for some bathroom work. Reed's Home Improvement came through for us big time! They were prompt, professional, and completed the job quickly without sacrificing quality. The pricing was very reasonable and they were friendly and easy to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and reliable service. Will definitely be reaching out again for future projects!"

Granite Restoration questions, answered by experts
While caulking is handy for quite a bit of jobs, it’s still limited. Any crack or gap larger than 1/4 inch is best left for a more intensive repair job. When you hire house painters, they should run a thorough check to see what they need to repair before they start the job.
Large repairs that caulking typically won’t do well with include cracks or holes larger than a 1/4 inch, rotted wood, or metal surfaces, such as garage doors.
The best practice is to reseal the counters every few months or at least once a year, depending on how much traffic your kitchen gets. If you’re handy, you can learn how to seal granite countertops or leave it to the pros if you want peace of mind that it is done correctly.
Yes, you can put hot pans on your granite surface without worrying about cracking. This durable, heat-resistant stone can handle temperatures over 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it’s still good practice to use a pot trivet. There’s a risk that leaving a hot pot on a granite countertop for long periods can cause discoloration. Also, the pot can heat the granite, and an unsuspecting family member could burn their hand if they place it on the surface soon after the pot is removed.
Granite is naturally water-resistant and suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways. However, proper sealing and maintenance are essential to prevent staining or water damage, especially in areas prone to frequent spills or high humidity. Choosing the proper sealant and reapplying it regularly will help maintain the floor’s durability and appearance in these environments.
You can cut granite countertops after installing them, but you need to consider the mess it will make. Dust will be everywhere, and lots of protective gear will be required. On top of that, you will need to measure meticulously to make sure the cuts you make are perfect; otherwise, you’ll be stuck having to replace the entire slab of granite, which is a much bigger job.
