"Aireserv Shreveport is an amazing company. They are very prompt to address any issues and find solutions that work for you. The owners are so friendly and make you feel like you are their only customer. We use them exclusively for all our HVAC needs for repair work that has been done to our unit and even to install an additional air intake, which tremendously aided in cooling our house in the areas further-est from the original intake. This was a solution they provided to answer our problem of half our house being hot/cold depending on the season. We cannot get over the difference it makes. They are extremely professional & on time - they send you text and email alerts when the technician is on the way and the technician also calls to say he is on the way. Best HVAC company ever!"

"I hired Rachel to clean the interior of my home. She always did a thorough job. She cleaned floors, furniture, cabinets, kitchen appliances, windows, bathrooms, and bedrooms. She has a keen eye for detail. She, always, put everything back in its place. My home sparkled after she finished. I highly recommend her for your house cleaning needs."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.

For the best chemicals to clean a metal roof, stick to gentle detergents such as dish soap, laundry detergent, or car-wash soap mixed in a diluted solution of ¼ cup of soap to 1 gallon of water. These mild cleansers are safe for most roof finishes but are still strong enough to remove remaining dirt particles. Chemicals like bleach or acids can damage your roof, poison landscaping and grass, and pose a hazard to you and your family. If your roof is very dirty or you think it requires chemical cleaning, call a roof cleaning professional.

To keep your PVC roof in top condition, keep it clear of debris, ensure drainage systems are working properly, and inspect it for damage regularly. Keeping the roof clear of ponding water, sharp debris, and other hazards will prevent damage. Have your roof inspected by a professional once a year to ensure the seams aren’t damaged or separated—faulty seams can lead to destructive water intrusion.

You should not clean roof shingles if the roof has damage like missing shingles or low spots where water may accumulate. You should focus on repairing the roof before any cleaning process occurs. If you notice roof damage as you’re climbing on the roof to clean it, stop immediately. Call a roofing pro to make repairs. Cleaning a roof that has damage could lead to pooling water or water damage to the roof decking. The roof cleaning process removes mold and mildew, making the roof look better. It is not going to fix physical damage, though.

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.
