"If you need any kind of construction work, I would definitely recommend them!!! He is amazing! He made suggestions that were good for our project. We have much better quality post than original. His attention to detail was so appreciated. Took care of our property, polite, cleaned up. Very pleased with his service from start to finish. Traci is great with the project details, scheduling, & any questions that we had. Always friendly & pleasant. Very happy with this company and will do business with them again. Thankful to have found someone who listens, offers suggestions, and follows through with what they say. If you have a project, give them a call- you will be pleased!"

"Here’s an updated HomeAdvisor review that clearly reflects the full scope of work. Excellent Work and Professional Service Civil Lining Industries did an excellent job painting the room, installing molding, and completing several other handyman tasks in my home. The workmanship was high quality, with great attention to detail, and everything was completed professionally and efficiently. They were punctual, respectful of my space, and communicated well throughout the project. The finished room looks great, and I’m very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Civil Lining Industries for painting, molding, and general handyman work. If you’d like it shorter, more informal, or with a stronger emphasis on before/after transformation, I can adjust it quickly."

Spindles on a deck may also be called balusters or pickets. While not as important to the structural support of the deck as the rail posts, they play a critical role in ensuring the deck is safe to use by closing in large gaps in the railing. For this reason, balusters must be no more than 4 inches away from one another.

It is not recommended to cut or drill into LVL (laminated veneer lumber) beams. As major structural components of a home, their composite structure can be compromised by alterations, which can weaken them and lead to cracking over time. If you must make modifications to an LVL beam, it is crucial to consult a structural engineer or general contractor first. A professional can advise on whether it's safe and provide specifics on the appropriate bit size, depth, and directionality for any necessary drilling.

Balusters provide vertical support to make sure your stair railing and/or deck is as sturdy and safe as possible. These spindles help hold up the railing so people walking up or down stairs have something strong to hold onto. They can also act as a unique design element if they’re custom-made to suit a specific style or size requirement.

General contractors use subcontractors to complete specific parts of a construction project. For example, a general contractor might have construction experience but need a subcontractor to install plumbing lines in a new home.

No, beams are the primary load-bearers for flooring or roofing systems, and they distribute the weight of the structure to your foundational supports, while joists bear far less weight and distribute their loads to the beams. Beams are usually thicker and longer, and they have support posts or foundation walls beneath them for support.
