"Renovating my home has been a nightmare, but working with companies like Steadfast Electrical have made portions of this process pleasant and stress free. The technician was punctual and pleasant to work with, performed quality work, and the price was fair. I ended up needing additional work done while he was there and he easily accommodated my additional requests. I would definitely recommend this company."

"I needed the attic fan to be replaced after a lighting strike. The location of the fan wasn’t the easiest to get to but that didn’t stop Alonzo from doing an awesome job and finishing sooner than anticipated. Got us up and running in no time! Should I need any electrical work done in the future, I would definitely hire MC-All electric for the job again!"

"The drywall was fair, a lot of the electrical outlet where not cut out to fix the outlets themselves, so I had to buy over-sized face-plates in order to cover up the mistakes, the doors and trim for the most part came of pretty good, some of the painting on the doors needed to be redone, because the paint was sprayed on unevenly, the hanging of the doors and trim work was pretty good. the installation of the tub and shower, was not done very well, some of the lines did not match up, and the shower head kept dripping when toggling between the bathtub and the shower itself, and he did not come back to finish up the drywall around the bath and tub insert, or the baseboard trim work, which he said he would do. I really liked Ryan as a person, and I thought that he would be a man of his word, so I made the mistake of paying him in full for the unfinished work, because I thought that he could be trusted, to do what he said he would, however I had to find out the hard way, that this was not the case. after leaving him several text messages, asking him when he would be coming back to finish the work that had been paid for, I got no responses from him. so I have to hire someone else to finish up what I had already paid for. I really hate writing anything negative about anyone, because I know that this is their profession and livelihood, However I have to be honest, so that no one else would have to go through the same thing that I did."

"An inspection was done on my home and the inspector provided a list of HVAC and electrical repairs to be addressed. Evans Heating and Cooling reviewed the inspection report, and went through it with me. They identified that some of the items were indeed in need of repair, they identified items the inspector didn't notice, and they also found that the inspector was incorrect in some of their assessments. Evans to the time to thoroughly review the information, explain what needed to be done, and help me make an informed decision about which repairs and maintenance to have done. Additionally, Evans Heating and Cooling is reliable, trustworthy, dependable, and accountable. At one point, one of the repairs Evans addressed didn't take. I called them to let them know and they promptly headed back to my home and re-addressed the repair free of charge. I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC and Electrical needs, and I plan to use them for all of my future needs!"

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should have an outlet box if you plan on installing an outdoor fixture. You can install an additional outlet box at the same time you complete your fixture installation, though. Not only does this outlet work with outdoor light fixtures, but it comes in handy for other outdoor fixtures, like holiday lights.

It’s best to have the recommended support for any lighting fixture you install, and you could be risking injury to someone if you hang a chandelier without a stud. The chandelier could potentially fall, shatter, and hurt you or someone else, and you’ll need to have an additional hanging fixture, such as a hook to hold the lighting in place.

Yes, a handyperson can install a new light fixture in place of an existing fixture. A handyperson typically cannot complete significant electrical work or change a home's wiring. If you want to install a light fixture in a new location, consult a properly licensed and insured electrician according to your local regulations.

For a 10-by-10-foot room, you’ll usually need between four and six recessed lights. However, this is a general figure because each space is different. In addition to your room’s square footage, it’s also important to consider other factors, like the purpose of the recessed lights. If they’ll serve as ambient lighting, you’ll need more lights than you would if you were using them for accent lighting.

Whether it's a style overhaul, a home revamp, or a change of scenery, removing a chandelier often comes with challenges. The complexity lies in the tricky installation of these fixtures. Delicate crystals, intricate frames, and the elevated placement of chandeliers make this removal one that requires finesse. Striking the right balance between aesthetics and practicality and ensuring electrical safety during the process adds difficulty to an otherwise straightforward task.
