"You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."

Windows may need to be replaced after a hurricane if they’re severely damaged. For example, if you have windows with blown-out glass and a cracked frame, they will need to be replaced. Bifold windows work by using a track that allows panels to slide to the side and "stack" so they take up minimal space, leaving the largest opening. But you should make sure to inspect the windows every year, typically before winter, to look for gaps or signs of failing caulk, such as cracking or peeling. If the caulk is weak, you may need to remove and replace it before it's five years old.

Casement windows can either be left or right opening, and every window manufacturer makes both so that you can choose which works best for your space. In many cases, you’ll want one left-opening and one right-opening casement window to sit on either side of a picture window or to act as the side panels in a bay window. Just remember that the direction is described from the curb. An FCL (from the curb left) hinges out to the left if you’re looking at the exterior of your home, and an FCR (from the curb right) hinges out to the right.
