I refinish and reface kitchen cabinets with over 12 years of experience. I keep my schedule open so I'm always available and because I work alone, my prices are very reasonable. New cabinets can be matched to existing ones with attention to the details of the new doors and drawers. Pull-outs are very popular and make base cabinets seem bigger. Replacement cabinets are available in stock and custom styles. Refacing existing cabinets with new doors and drawer fronts is very popular, and homeowners can choose the details of their new cabinets with me during our kitchen design consultation. Shaker style has been trending for a decade or more and it's what I do the most of when I reface. Refacing takes a little longer than refinishing and I do more refinishing than refacing. You can use any colors you choose. Most refinishing takes me a couple of days in the kitchen and I recommend Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane. Kitchen cabinets are always satin sheen. I don't do anything like countertops or backsplash. I specialize in kitchen cabinets. I often have to make minor changes and repairs to the kitchen cabinets when I refinish or reface them. "We chose Johnson's Professional Painting because our daughter had used them and was pleased with the results.  Both Travis and his coworker Sean worked very hard--seldom took a break--and did an outstanding job making sure the paint covered well.  Also, their work on the damaged wall was nothing short of amazing--the wall looks brand new! They caulked and made small repairs as needed without being told to do so, and they were very careful painting around some muraling in the front hall.  We had done some preparation for them to come, taking down pictures, emptying the dining room hutch, and removing switch plates,  but they moved all the heavy furniture.  What perhaps impressed us the most was that they both seemed to take a lot of pride in their work and were easy young men to have working in our home.

"This was a project I was dreading. They came in and completed the project in a total of 5 days. They were very conscientious and made removing wallpaper look easy. They were great and addressed any areas I was not happy with. I thought light shadows were painting imperfections and they were willing to repaint the area even after I realized it was a weird shadow. I do plan on having them back, but want to get some carpet work done first."

"The paint colors that existed were matched very close, a surprise since the shutters were very faded. They had three painters, each doing a different task to get the job done in a reasonable time. A lot of the old chalk was removed and new installed. Where the existing chalk looked good, a touch up coated was applied to insure a good seal. The shutters were painted in place on this two story house. The painters regularly asked for our comments, which were all favorable. The job took one day. At the completion of the job, we were asked to walked around the job to make sure all was completed to our satisfaction, and all was. There was complete coverage on all painted surfaces. There were no splatters or drips on brick or surrounding surfaces.

"Other than sporadic thunder storms, everything went well. Darryl contacted me every work day to say roughly when they would arrive (usually around 9-9:30 range) and the crew worked from then until about 3-3:30ish. They power washed, scraped old paint, repaired some wood and concrete and patched glaring problems in brick. They used 2 paint colors, which involved some detail work in the dormers. All work was thorough and Darryl asked questions and made adjustments as they worked. Each day, ladders were removed from the house and carefully stored in a location on the property. Trash was not left around the lot. Darryl asked us to inspect the work right before their last day and when we sent feedback on a few things, he added some that he had noticed too. All work was fixed to his standard the final day. All of the workers were polite and respectful and the house looks great! We have already recommended this company to some neighbors up the street."
