"I am so thankful for these guys! Despite the fact my Fitbit throws a party every time I mow my lawn because I get all 15,000 steps in pushing my mower back and forth, I just could not face another summer of spending over 2 hours mowing my lawn twice a week...especially this season. With all the rain we had in the beginning, my lawn was growing wet and wild as I could do nothing but watch and wait for the ground to dry enough to cut the grass. The guys came out, walked the marshy property with me and gave me a very reasonable quote, that even included a military discount. They took the time to ask detailed questions about what I wanted and how I wanted the job done. The first dry, warm day they were out to tame the beast that was my overgrown lawn. Thank to the rains, it was so high by that time it would have taken me a triple cut and ALL day for me to handle. Neither my knees nor my back would have been happy after pushing around my mower to accomplish that job. Within minutes, they had taken care of both my spring clean up, cut and edged my lawn, and even dispatched the stubborn leaves and debris that insists on collecting to greet me at my front door. Once the job was complete, we set up a schedule to maintain the lawn. They even helped me with removing old prickly bushes and replacing them with new azaleas. I also appreciate how they are willing to work with my schedule."

"They got the job done in good time and the result was what I wanted. They offered good advice and were very helpful along the way. The neighbors all approve of the results. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend them for any landscaping, tree work, and landscaping. They are pleasant to work with."

"Showed up in the time frame and did an amazing job. They cleaned out the chimney and inspected it for any damage or repaires that it may need. They did reset the damper for me and after they finished they took the equipment and left. Besides a clean chimney you couldnt tell that they were ever here."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

All herbicides come with risks, but you can control and mitigate risks by discussing your options with your weed service company before application. Some companies use milder or sustainable herbicides more times per season to control weeds rather than one to two herbicide sprayings annually. You can also ask your professional about pet-friendly and kid-friendly services. In most cases, though, you can wait a few days after the application for the herbicides to soak into the ground, at that point they shouldn’t pose a risk to you or your family.

Yellow leaves and stems on your sprouts indicate they’re not getting enough light. Keep them near the appropriate light source and give them as much as they need (they require longer exposure to fluorescence than they do to natural light sources).

Adding vinegar to your lawn increases the acidity of the area, which can kill quack grass present above the ground. However, putting vinegar in your yard will also kill the grass. Unfortunately, the below-ground quack grass rhizomes remain very much alive in the presence of vinegar and will soon sprout again.

Yes, if your home is poorly maintained and has weeds and overgrowth, it can affect your home appraisal and lower the value. Home buyers want to see a well-kept home, and if yours lacks curb appeal whether inundated by weeds or not, you could be neglecting the potential for it to reach its full value.

If you have a lot of tree roots in your yard or have experienced issues in the past, you should use tree root killer every six months to prevent roots from infiltrating your pipes. If you have an active invasion and aren’t seeing results, check the instructions on the bottle to see how often you can use it in a short period of mine.
