"We highly recommend AFS for waterproofing a crawlspace. AFS encapsulated our crawlspace on our new construction home and installed a sump pump and dehumidifier in the crawlspace. The install crew (Tim - Foreman, Trent, CJ and John) was very prompt, courteous and professional. They explained everything about their work, and thoroughly cleaned up the worksite. Tim returned a few days later to finish up after our electrical outlets were installed and to make sure everything was working properly. Our salesman Reid was also excellent to work with. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"Initially contacted Paul Hammond based on Angies List prior recommendations.  Paul answered the phone every time I called him, did not have to leave messages or wait for someone to call you back.  Paul scheduled an inspection of the residence and communicated precisely when he would have the estimate for work being done.
Paul continued to communicate with me concerning the work and costs to repair exterior stucco (numerous crack in block) and buildout stucco next to a window.  All work was accomplished when Paul said it would be.  Quality of work was excellent.

"Potter House was very responsive, calling back and providing an upfront no-BS time estimate for when work could actually begin (if we had decided to use them). Due to the busy nature of their schedule, they weren't expecting to be able to begin work for at least three weeks but, knowing the nature of our problem, were willing to come by and provide an estimate. When the gentleman I was dealing with came over to look at our problem he was, once again, upfront about how long it would be before Potter House would be able to begin work. He was also quite knowledgeable and honest about the different aspects of work and sub-contracting that would be required to get done what we needed. All-in-all, I was very appreciative of not being strung along nor having to do my own follow-up. Though we didn't end up using them (since we needed to get the work started before they were available), I would not hesitate to call them up again for future work.

I have had them since 1994 because I like the service and stuff provided to me. I have several properties in Alabama and they have done work there too. I have not had any problems out of American Home Shield. Their responsiveness is one of the main reasons why I continue to use them. The price is included in my premium.
