Small jobs welcome

"First of all, I highly recommend A.L.F. Heating, Cooling!! I got in contact with Austin about a replacing our old central heat and air system and he was very quick to reply and discuss our needs. He found us a whole system that fit right into our budget and had the whole thing installed in a couple of days. The price he gave us included everything; there were no extra charges for anything extra, but let's not forget the all the little extras he did do for us at no extra charge. He went above and beyond to do a good job! After a few days of running our new A/C I can say everything works perfectly and we're nice and comfortable once again. So no matter what your needs are, give these guys a call, they are very nice, very polite, and will do their best do a good job for you and keep you on budget. I highly recommend A.L.F. Cooling and Heating and home repair!"

"BC Construction is awesome. They completed a job for me, showed up on time when they said they would, had a very flexible schedule to work with my needs, a friendly tech and he did what he said he would do and cleaned up after. Very happy with the phenomenal job they did for me. Would give him 10 stars if I could!"

"Tim and his son did a fantastic job. They kept me informed of everything they were doing throughout the replacement of my (basically) ancient air handler. They were both very courteous and left my home as clean as they found it. I wouldnâ t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work done."

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can lay a gas grill flat during transportation. Laying it flat can help prevent it from moving around the truck during the journey. It’s still advisable to secure the grill with bungee cords, just in case.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Depending on the appliance and labor requirements, costs range from $150 to $500.

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
