"Let me just say up until now, I was happy with this company. This is what happened to me. It all centers around a transformer, we provided for the tech in case he needed it. Well, it turns out he installed it improperly and it blew the transformer and the new controller. So now they gaslight us , and proceed to tell me, that I said my husband installed it, no I did not ever say that. I said that it had been replaced once and it was a new part. So one thousand dollars later, here I am, being called a liar, and having words put in my mouth, plausible deniability I guess. Anyway, I advise if you provide parts, document, take pictures and or video, and have the tech sign a list of parts installed. Now, I have totally lost trust in anyone I hire to do work on my home, thanks for that. And I will now have to find a new company to work with near me, and that is not easy to find. I got screwed by another company, that's another story"

The time it takes to build a pool—and dig out the area—varies based on the pool size and type. A professional excavator will take between four and eight hours to dig a pool. The process will take longer if they encounter large boulders or tree roots. Keep in mind that this is a small part of the process in the long run. You can bury underground electrical wire six inches deep—but only if you use a rigid metal electrical conduit. For rigid, non-metallic conduits, bury the wire at least 12 inches deep. If using an underground feeder cable rated for direct burial, you'll need to place it at least 18 inches deep, as it has no conduit for extra protection.

You can dig 60 to 80 linear feet by hand per day depending on the depth. Digging a 100-foot trench by hand will take you two work days, but it can take longer if you have heavy or rocky soil. If you’re digging a deep trench or one that’s over 100 feet, consider renting a mechanical trencher, such as a walk-behind or ride-on, or calling a pro for help. 

A crawl space can be as little as 42 inches below the grade of your house, but this is not always recommended in flood-prone areas. At a minimum, there must be at least 16 inches of clearance between the ground and the floor joists to access the space in an emergency.

Downspouts should be buried at least 5 to 10 feet away from your foundation. This can vary depending on your local building codes, soil type, and property slope. The main goal is to ensure water is directed away from your foundation.
