Their Angi profile claims they "do not believe in subcontracting out any of our services," but in reality Jacob, the owner, sent subcontractors to my home who did poor quality work, skipped surface preparation and priming, left overspray, and ignored obvious wood repair needs. Their negligence caused over $13,000 in property damage, and after almost three months of back-and-forth, there is still no resolution. Instead of taking accountability, Jacob pushed responsibility onto the subcontractors and failed to honor the terms of his own contract. Based on my experience, this company is untrustworthy and unreliable."

"Terrible. Unfortunately, the terms of the contract weren’t fulfilled and we are left finishing a large portion of the remodel and addition. Although we hired Mountain Construction to build an addition and remodel our retirement home and ~93% of funds were provided to Mountain Construction, we were left with ~35%-40% of the overall construction not completed. I would not use nor recommend Mountain Construction for any project one might be considering."

"I thought about an addition for several years; then interviewed and received bids from about 6 companies. I wanted a workroom with: * built-in storage cabinets and desk * space for the washer, dryer, freezer, and sauna. * ample space for my projects JB Construction’s bid was reasonable and fair. Joe is professional, honest, responsive, and easy to work with. He finds and hires quality subcontractors, and I am impressed with the work that was completed on my addition. He is hands-on, was involved in the process, and checked in often as the work progressed. He actually did quite a bit of the work himself. I really appreciated how Joe suggested improvements that I never would have thought of. These included enlarging the space from 280 to 320 sq ft, adding a sun tunnel when the skylight wouldn’t work with the roof line, a built-in cabinet where a window was removed, an exterior electrical outlet, and an overhead light in the corner cupboard. Joe was able to salvage and reuse the old brick on the front of the addition. This, along with the two original windows integrated the addition seamlessly with the rest of the house. It was done so perfectly; neighbors have asked where the addition was built. I’m extremely picky and am thrilled with my new addition. It’s lovely, functional, and my preferred room in my house. Joe has a lot of repeat customer jobs and I can see why. This was a great experience and I’m glad I went with him. I plan to use JB Construction for future projects and recommend him to everyone I know."
