What set it apart for me was the fact that they require their lead teachers to have a degree in childhood education. Most of the other preschools don't require it. I wasn't interested in hiring a glorified babysitter. Many of the other schools also smelled like daycares--you know what I'm talking about. Goddard smells clean, it didn't hurt that classical music played in the halls, instead of screaming children. Also, I didn't see a single runny nose when we toured Goddard, unlike some other snot-laden places, which told me that Goddard actually does send kids home when they are sick and they keep the classrooms and toys clean.
My 7 month old daughter has been in the infant room since early February 2014.
When she first started, they were searching for a lead teacher. At that time, there were two very sweet assistant teachers holding down the fort until the lead was hired. Fortunately, it was worth the wait and in March 2014, they hired Ms. Kristen.
My husband and I feel extremely fortunate that she and her assistant teacher, Ms. Graciela, are at Goddard. They are both loving, cheerful people that are nurturing and patient with all of the kids. Our daughter is in great hands.
She is happy when I drop her off and happy when I pick her up. When I walk in the classroom, which is always clean and well-maintained, my daughter is interacting with the other kids and very content. They have daily activities and weekly themes that help drive the curriculum. (I realize it sounds silly for an infant to have a curriculum, but they pick up a lot more than you give them credit for and I appreciate that my daughter is always being challenged.) Despite the fact that there are 8 babies in the room, I'm always amazed at how calm and collected everyone is when I drop in. (I struggle to keep my own house peaceful and I'm only trying to juggle one baby!)
The office staff is always kind and polite and, if I've ever had feedback, they have been very receptive to hearing it. If you're looking for a school for your child, Goddard is a great option.

We were preparing to move in, following a significant renovation and wanted to have the carpets cleaned, before moving furniture in.
The Serenity team (two guys) showed up, right when they said they would and did exactly what they were supposed to do. The carpets had been cleaned before and the previous time they were extremely wet afterwards. When Serenity finished, the carpets looked great and were relatively dry by that evening. They also didn't have a musty smell like it did after the previous cleaning.
Not only does the carpet look as good as new, but our dog is a good indicator that they did a thorough job. (The previous owner had a big golden retriever that shed a lot. After the cleaning, our dog never sniffed around, as though there were trace remnants of a previous pet.)
One other item that made the guys stand out?I purchased the service through an Angie's List coupon. Apparently there was a glitch on the Angie's List side and I was overcharged. Serenity's owner saw the error and suggested I get a refund. It's all been resolved, but I was so busy at the time, I hadn't even noticed. I appreciated him pointing it out to me.
I will use them again.

FRAUDS! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! They stole money from us. They did a shotty job. Installed wrong flooring. The flooring they installed was rotted, wet moldy left in a wet wood warehouse. It was red oak should have been white oak. Get invoices they will overcharge you for extra items to use...
Purifox llc team were very nice and respectful of my home while he cleaned out the air ducts. He also showed me before and afters throughout the day, which was a really kind and reassuring! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone!
Very very happy. He was thorough, detailed and didn’t settle. We had some rain come through while we were waiting for the deck to dry before sealing. He stopped by each day and took moister readings until it was in spec. Each time followed up via text with an update (“maybe one or two more ...
The company quickly called to schedule an appointment and was able to schedule for the next day. The technician called and asked if he could come a little early as his previous appointment was finished. No problem! Our LG washer was leaking water, and the technician quickly identified a bad...
The average cost to clean a dryer vent is around $140, but you could pay between $75 and $325, depending on the size of your dryer vent, accessibility, and how much debris is caught inside the vent. A first-floor or basement vent will usually be the most affordable to professionally clean, while a second-floor or roof vent will be more expensive due to additional equipment required for access. Your price could increase higher than these estimates if you also want an official dryer vent inspection or if your professional discovers that you need vent repairs.
Yes, dryer vent cleaning is absolutely worth the money. The service is relatively inexpensive and quick, and the value and peace of mind you get for the investment make it worthwhile. A clogged dryer vent is a significant fire risk, so the average $140 you might pay to have your dryer vent cleaned once a year could save you thousands of dollars in home repairs if the clog causes a fire. Additionally, some homeowner’s insurance companies will charge you a lower premium if you provide receipts of annual dryer vent cleanings by a professional.
Some signs of a clogged dryer vent include the following:
Your clothes take longer than usual to dry.
The exterior of your dryer gets very hot during operation.
You see lint around the area where the vent leaves your exterior wall.
You notice unusual or burning odors during dryer operation.
If you notice any of these signs, discontinue use and call a dryer vent cleaning service immediately. Neglecting a clogged dryer vent drastically increases the risk of a fire starting in your home.
It’s possible to clean out your dryer vent yourself, and it’s recommended between professional cleanings. You can disconnect the vent, remove lint and debris by hand, and then vacuum the inside of the vent hose using vacuum extensions. However, a DIY dryer vent cleaning should never replace a professional cleaning. At least once per year, you should hire a professional dryer vent cleaner to clear your dryer vent, regardless of how often you clean it yourself. This schedule will provide peace of mind and increased safety for your family and your home.
You should have your dryer vent cleaned by a professional at least once per year. Over time, lint and other debris from your laundry get caught throughout the vent, causing a few different issues. A less severe problem caused by a clogged dryer vent is extended drying time for your clothes, which increases energy costs. More importantly, lint in a clogged dryer vent can easily catch fire, putting your household members and your home at significant risk. Keep in mind that decades-old dryer vent systems may need increased cleaning, so plan to complete this task twice per year.
