At Clint's Small Engine Repair we repair, service, and sell parts for most four and two stroke small engines. We also sharpen mower blades, and sharpen chain saw chains. We take pride on customer service and our prices and rates are competitive. We are a small business located in Northwest Missouri. Clint is the owner and operator and has been doing repairs on small engines since he was about ten years old. He had attended two years of welding school, and two years of diesel mechanics school including small engine classes.

"Clint was highly recommended, he was contacted twice, saw my message twice, chose to ignore me. Crap way to run a business."

"Terrible company. Possibly a scam. They attempted to sell me a part they didn't even have, and after waiting patiently for OVER A MONTH, I canceled my order. When calling them to confirm, they told me they never had the part to sell to me. What a joke!"

Lawn Tool Repair questions, answered by experts

How often you tune up a lawn mower depends on how often your lawn mower is used. Minimally, it should be tuned up once a year. If you use it regularly or have a vast lawn, tuning it up every 100 hours is advisable.

The American ideal of a large, perfectly-manicured lawn is tied to the post-World War II suburban housing boom. In the decades that followed, technological advances made self-propelled mowers more affordable and plentiful. Many Americans came to see reel mowers as old-fashioned, inconvenient, and time-consuming, and they eventually fell out of fashion.

Repair costs range from $50 to $400, depending on issue severity, part replacements, and labor.

Regular oil changes, blade sharpening, fuel system cleaning, and air filter replacements help extend mower lifespan.

Costs depend on mower type, labor, replacement part needs, and severity of the issue.
