"I think he did a great job at cleaning the carpets. It did take a while for it to dry but it was ok. I am glad to do business with a owner of a small business. I plan to use him again in the future and will recommend him to my friends when we discuss carpet cleaning."

"I highly recommend Gary, he's always punctual and does a great job. He works really hard and is very trustworthy. I have no worries at all leaving him to work while I run an errand. He's cleaned several times for me and is always careful and thorough and a very nice man. He cleaned the air ducts for me and sprayed it with antimicrobial treatment which helps with allegies a lot. His prices are very reasonable and I don't think anyone could beat it, especially for all the hard work he does.

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Patching your carpet in damaged areas or using an industry-grade cleaner on urine spots can help remove stains and scents from your carpet. If odors linger, leave baking soda on the area overnight (dry), then vacuum it up in the morning.

If you prefer not to use a commercial cleaning product on your pink mold issue, or on other types of mold you are seeing in your bathroom, there are some natural mold killer products that you can use. You can try substances that you may already have in your home, like vinegar, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, and baking soda.

When cleaning upholstery, you want to avoid harsh scrubbing, oversaturating the fabric, and using the wrong kind of cleaner for the fabric you’re cleaning. Any of these can cause significant damage to the upholstery, including rips, stains, faded fabric, mildew, or discoloration. Be methodical and use a light touch when cleaning upholstered furniture to preserve the life and look of the upholstery.

Most carpet cleaning solutions are safe to use in the home. However, to avoid irritation and health issues you can look for a neutral, mild detergent, especially one that’s marked as nontoxic or eco friendly. When in doubt, always check out the ingredient list. Some cleaning options only use steam heat to clean with little or no detergent, which could be an option if you’re worried.

While they both help to penetrate tough fibers and have similar designs, there is a difference between an upholstery cleaner and a carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaners are much tougher on stains and use much more concentrated solutions, while upholstery cleaners are a bit softer on fabrics and use lighter solutions. While an upholstery cleaner may work on a carpet, your carpet cleaner might be too rough on your upholstered furniture.
