"Our business needed three roof units replaced. Not only did they come out quick to get us quote, but they had it all installed very quickly! We really appreciate everyone at Star. They also updated all our thermostats throughout the building. They are the only people I would call if I needed, service, repairs or installation."
"Contractor arrived on time provided an estimate and completed the installation of a new 200 Amp service box all in one afternoon. Very professional, would definitely use again."
"Indiana Geothermal, Arctic Heating and Cooling Kris Kyler is the owner operator of both companies and they worked together to complete the project of replacing my old electric resistance heating and AC unit. From quote to finish, his team of professionals finished up this project in a little over a week. I had two other quotes besides Indiana Geothermal, one from a large well known company and the other from another smaller business. I finally selected this company to install my geothermal system. The main reason for selecting Kris was he listened to what I wanted and made it work. The installation I wanted was not the easiest. I wanted it installed in place of the old furnace which was much smaller. This area required some alterations to the surrounding walls. This above and beyond mentality was evident as the other two quotes, I had, involved putting in a spilt geothermal system which I did not want. These other quotes wanted to take the easy way out. Kris took my thoughts and made them a reality. I also found KrisâÂÂs prices much better that the other two quotes. I feel the team worked on my system with the same thoughtfulness that I would work on my system. They didnâÂÂt take short cuts. They didnâÂÂt upsell any extra equipment or service contracts. They installed it as if it were their own system. I normally will hover over people doing anything to my house or vehicles and always prefer to do my own work. I actually felt like I could go sit and relax while they did the job because I trusted they would not take shortcuts normally taken by âÂÂprofessionalsâÂÂ. That is a very comforting feeling for me. On day one of the install, the backhoe team dug a 375 foot horizontal loop in about 5 hrs. This normally would have been closer to a 3 hour job but my soil caused all kinds of headaches due to excessive ground water. The sides kept caving in. This did not stop them. Instead of getting frustrated, they adapted to and worked their way to a successful installation. When you spend this kind of money you want things done correctly and professionally. They worked as a team which was the main reason for their success. This could not have been accomplished any other way. The installation of the Geothermal unit and moving and incorporating of my electric water heater took one and a half more days and also went without a hitch. They performed like a cohesive team and again performed like they were installing it at their own house. In conclusion, I am very impressed with this company, and this team! I highly recommend them. If you truly care about getting a worry free installation get a quote from Kris. You wonâÂÂt regret it!"
"We did a remodel and Scott installed brand new Heating And Cooling for the home. This was in 2020. I’ve used them for many other projects since then, he comes highly recommended!"
"Quality work. Very polite and knowledgeable. They did lots of extras and left the entire workspace in very good order. Pricier than others, but if you're wanting it done right, they do it."
"He installed a new outside unit and ran all new lines to inside unit because we had a leak somewhere between units. Did this for thousands less than competitors. Few days after had heat issues and he came back and fixed that issue which was not anything cause by work he did for free!!!"
"Ended up not needing to replace thermostat. ARS technician checked A/C system and found no issues. Discovered nest thermostat was installed by utility company, allowing them to shut it down during peak usage. Previous homeowner is to blame."
"I have had Oasis (Bryce ) do several jobs for us (install gas furnace and Central Air unit along with several other jobs) and they are top notch without the top notch price! Very honest, dependable and knowledgeable! I will continue to use them and will never use another company!"

Install Central Vacuum questions, answered by experts
Before deciding whether or not to install a central vacuum system, consider the pros and cons to determine if it’s right for you.
Pros
Increased suction power
Improved air quality
Reduced noise pollution
Longer lifespan than traditional self-contained vacuum units
Cons
Higher upfront installation costs
Expensive repairs
Requires significant storage space
Technically, yes, you could install a central vacuum system on your own, but it is a very difficult DIY. There is a significant amount of planning, cutting into walls, and electrical wiring work that goes into it, which should only be performed by a professional. Because of the difficulty and expense associated with a central vacuum system, it’s worth it to hire a professional company familiar with the installation's complexities.
A central vacuum system can be a worthwhile investment depending on your needs and budget. While the upfront cost is higher than a traditional vacuum cleaner, it offers significant long-term benefits. These systems can save you time and make cleaning your home easier, as you only need to carry the hose and vacuum head, eliminating the need to lug a heavy unit up and down stairs. They also tend to operate more quietly and can improve indoor air quality. The convenience and performance over many years may make it a valuable addition to your home if you can budget for the initial installation.
No. Only the hose or the attachments are portable in a central vacuum system. A portable vacuum is a standalone model like a stick, canister, or upright. A central vacuum system is defined by a central power unit, which is installed in one place like an AC unit, and the connected network of piping to funnel the suction.
Whether talking about a whole-house central vacuum or a portable vacuum cleaner, the expected cost of major repair work should always be balanced against its replacement cost. However, excluding high-cost motor replacements or major electrical trouble, repairs on a central vacuum system are typically far less than the cost of purchasing and installing a new one.
