"Ty and Tiffany were the most professional, upfront, honest people I've ever dealt with! I used Angie's list to find the best auto detailing business because I'd let my van literally go to pieces on the inside, and I didn't even know where to start in terms of cleaning it. In fact, I didn't know if anyone or any company would be able to do much at all with the interior, I'm ashamed to say. However, I wanted to try. 1st Class had an "A" rating on Angie's list, and the comments were just glowing, so I went with this company. From the very first phone call to seeing my "miracle" van, the process was so smooth and professional. I wanted a "show room" fresh start for my van, and what I received was even better ---the interior of my van looked as if it had just rolled off the assembly line with brand new parts! I was embarrassed to bring my van to 1st Class, but I was totally humbled to pick it up---and to see what true "customer satisfaction" really looks like in action. Wow.....Ty and Tiffany have managed---in this day and age of "get 'em in and get 'em out"---to establish and operate an extremely professional, "we want you back" business that is, indeed, a rarity in today's face-paced world. Praise the Lord that people this concerned about giving customers their money's worth still exist!! They've certainly gained another customer for life!"

"I've worked with Start To Finish on several projects and they are great to work with. They do a great job, providing cost effective options, talking about different ways to approach the project and what the pros and cons are, so as a consumer who doesn't do these kinds of things very often I still feel like I can make an informed decision. The project went according to plan, and as always Jeff and team followed up to make sure everything was just right."

Architects questions, answered by experts

Some architects include interior design in their portfolio of offerings, while some architectural firms employ interior designers to handle that aspect of home building projects or refer clients to interior designers they’ve worked with in the past. Ask a local architect whether they offer interior design services as well.

A home elevator is a fantastic way to improve your home’s accessibility. Elevators allow anyone, even those who use wheelchairs or walkers, to safely move between floors within your home.

Dumbwaiters may allow you to move items up and down floors, and stair lifts can move people up and down, but elevators are the best option if you need space for people, their belongings, and/or mobility aids such as wheelchairs.

That said, home elevators cost more than other options, such as stair lifts. Consider your needs and your budget when deciding the best way to make your home more accessible to a person with a disability or a person who is aging in place.

The various types of architects can be broken down into eight distinct categories, but there can be specific specialties within each of them. Most homeowners will work with a residential, restoration, green, interior, landscape, or retrofit architect for projects. There are also lighting and commercial architects whose work is geared more toward large spaces and businesses.

Greek Revival and Federal architecture are quite similar in that they focus on symmetry and a blend of utilitarianism and opulence, but they differ in a few key areas. First, Federal architecture tends to include a brick facade, whereas Greek Revival homes more often have stucco siding, much like you’d find in Mediterranean houses. Greek Revival homes also tend to be a bit more ornate, with columns as decor, and more decorative and formal porticos.

The best height for a pizza oven is one that allows the user to easily see what’s going on inside and comfortably place pies without having to crouch over. In general, that means the opening should be between 36 and 48 inches off the ground. By contrast, the height of the dome is totally up to your preference, because different heights create different results. Shorter domes are better for creating Neapolitan-style pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for NY-style recipes.
