He had to cut a hole, run the cords, and put in a new switch! We were able to work out all the details before we left and came home to an absolutely beautiful Chandelier Fan! When they came back to the house to do work for the seller they moved the box without giving me a quote or discussing it with me. In addition they left a real mess such as holes in the wall...etc. they then charged me $610. Bottom line they did work I never agreed to ha e them do."

It is relatively rare for a ceiling fan to fall. A properly installed ceiling fan is attached firmly to a ceiling joist. Even if the fan is wobbling, it’s unlikely to fall down. However, you should promptly repair your fan when you notice wobbling or imbalance just to be safe.

If you’re removing a ceiling fan without visible screws, start by locating the fan canopy—a round cover placed above the fan blades and motor. There should be a thin ring that can be turned counterclockwise to remove the canopy and reveal the screws. After unscrewing the fan, you can disconnect the wires and remove the entire fan from the mounting hardware. For safety, make sure the fan switch is turned off before you remove the canopy. It may be easier to remove the fan blades first, too.
