Linton's was founded by our president, Mark B. Linton in 1982, as a small landscape installation company in Elkhart, IN. The '80's were a period of intense learning as our young company quickly developed itself, underwent incorporation and became committed to our trademark...Quality and Excellence! Over the years many divisions were added. Today Linton's maintains the feel of a small business by offering personal attention to you and your needs. In addition to our original landscape division, our company has matured to offer: Garden Centre, Floral and Gift Shoppe, Nursery and Landscape Maintenance. As always, we acknowledge that our success has been earned through the work of our Linton Team. True to our company mission, the company remains committed to quality, excellence, value and to our most valued resource: our people.

"Second time I used them to send flowers. Excellent work. Thank you Linton's for a great floral department "

Your One-Call, On-Time Electrican. Specializing in Same Day Service with a "Straight Up" Price. All Technicians Must Comply with stringent standards of Drug Testing and National Criminal Background Checks. All Technicians are in uniform and have an id badge for your security. No guessing on "how much" or "who is this person in my home".

"I had McCormick out to my home to install a lighted address sign under an existing sconce. The serviceman evaluated my request and, after approximately 10 minutes, presented a price of $565 for the installation of the sign. I told him I felt this number was high for the work to be performed. He explained that their pricing model was based on the completion of the job, not based on time and materials. He said that the cost of $565 was what it would take to install the sign, regardless of how long it actually took him or what materials were required. I agreed and signed an iPad based contract. Approximately one hour later, I received an email showing the refund of my payment and stating the following: Client called us out to home to install NEW lighting address sconce on front of home, after pulling apart existing light it was found that there is an approximate 6” of Brick and concrete behind this, unfortunately making it impossible to fish a wire to a new light without having masonry work done, surface mount wiring would also be an option. A voicemail was left to client and light fixtures were reinstalled as before. In summary, the job was more difficult than originally anticipated. Instead of hiring a subcontractor to properly complete the work, McCormick breached it's contract with me (as I had contracted for completion) and, without consent, refunded the paid amount to my credit card. It's a mystery to me why McCormick feels legally justified in breaching its contract when the work presents as more difficult than anticipated when they ask customers to sign a completion contract."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Algae growth is a common issue for misters, but you can do several things to prevent it. First, use a sealed water tank with distilled or filtered water to fuel your misters. Second, blow out the misters after every use so no water is left in the tubing. Third, thoroughly clean the misting system every several weeks of use at minimum during the warmest months. Third, wherever possible positioning tubing and the water tank away from direct sunlight and in the coolest areas possible.

Yes, natural pools can get algae since they use the same filtration processes as lakes or streams. However, you can reduce the risk of algae by adding more algae-fighting plants and not installing your natural swimming pool in direct sunlight, as it promotes algae growth.

A koi pond should be at least 5 feet deep to keep the fish healthy and ensure they don’t freeze in winter. Koi fish are also known for growing large, so the more room you have, the better. A larger koi pond size will allow the fish to grow bigger than a smaller one will, and the more fish you have, the bigger the pond you’ll need. Learn how to build a pond in your backyard to ensure it remains functional and aesthetically pleasing for a long time.

In short, yes, a pond can add to your home’s value. However, whether it adds value will depend on the condition and aesthetic of your pond. Having this feature already built into a yard’s home can be appealing to homebuyers who value its aesthetic and would prefer not to build it themselves. But if it is not kept in good condition, it could turn buyers away.

Yes, waterfall edges are still in style and even considered a kitchen classic. At one time, they were considered trendy, but now homeowners appreciate them for their timeless appeal, which adds value to your home.
