30 years of experience

We have a general construction company (roofing, siding, windows, drywall, painting, etc), restoration contractors, inc. we have a servicemaster franchise that offers fire restoration, water mitigation, mold remediation, smoke and odor removal, carpet cleaning, content cleaning, duct cleaning, and other general cleaning services. we also have a floor covering company and can handle any floor covering needs. there is no job too big or too small. we are certified, professional, well trained individuals that come together to make a great team that can handle all of your home care needs.

"If there was a way to give a business ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (six stars), or even more, I would give that rating here. My wife and I were dealing with a nightmare situation. We bought a defective dishwasher, which destroyed the hardwood floor in our kitchen. The manufacturer belligerently gave us the runaround for nine months. We had everything ready and waiting… but nothing. Through that time, we touched base with the ServiceMaster team to let them know we weren’t ghosting them. They were kind and patient. Finally we gave up and filed a homeowner’s claim, and Jordan and Erin were able to work with State Farm to get them everything they needed. They were patient with us and, when we were really unsure of what flooring to go with, dropped off two different rounds of samples. Finally, with everything set up, the installers came and demo’d everything and started laying the new floor on Monday -finishing early Tuesday afternoon We are blown away. Not only has everyone from ServiceMaster been friendly, they literally make us feel like family. These are people you should want to do business with. Their flooring people? Fantastic! They showed such care in everything that they did and worked to lessen the disruption caused by having flooring put in while I was working downstairs. Not only were they a pleasure to deal with, but I have a deep sense of respect for their work ethic. In closing, my wife and I are profoundly grateful to the entire ServiceMaster family. We already have other jobs that we need to have done that we are getting estimates on. You will NOT be disappointed!"

Awnings questions, answered by experts

To make sure the installation process goes smoothly, try asking your pro the following questions:

  • Do you have insurance and a professional license to do the job? Installing a metal or canvas awning into a home’s exterior can be tricky, so ask your pro if they have the correct licensing and insurance to do the work.

  • What was the price of similar jobs in the past? Awning installation costs will vary depending on size, design, location, and other factors. Ask this question to get a feel for the average price range for jobs similar to yours.

  • How long will this project take to complete? Installing an awning is typically not too time-consuming, but hurdles can always present themselves. Gathering an estimated timeline could give you some peace of mind.

  • Will I need to get a building permit? Your local contractor will be well-versed in rules and regulations regarding building permits and other requirements to bring a project up to code. A seasoned pro will be able to furnish this information when discussing the quote.

  • Do you have any references from previous clients? A competent pro should readily hand out contact information for previous clients. Email or call these clients to hear about their overall experience.

Awnings can be a serious investment for homeowners, particularly if it features a motorized and retractable design. Protect the exterior of your home by choosing a reliable and reputable contractor. Do some research ahead of time to get an idea of the potential contractor’s strengths and weaknesses. Don’t hesitate to give them a call to discuss specifics.

Awnings offer a variety of materials to choose from, each of which has its own benefits. Cotton is a lower-cost option that’s also more eco-friendly because it’s made from natural materials, while acrylic-coated polyester and vinyl offer better durability against harsh weather. Fiberglass and metal are also resilient to weather, although metal can be vulnerable to corrosion without protective sealant. Ultimately, you’ll need to consider your climate and your budget in deciding the best material for your awning.

The main disadvantage of an awning window is that you can’t use it to escape in an emergency. Another disadvantage of awning windows is that they can get dirty quicker than other types of windows that don’t open outward, especially if you keep them open when it’s raining or snowing. You can hire a local window replacement installer to decide if an awning window is right for your home.

Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:

  • Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire

  • Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning

  • Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings

  • Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust

  • Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option

  • Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
