"House was originally painted in 2006. Advertising from company says paint lasts a lifetime, but unfortunately it doesn't....Nothing lasts a lifetime and warranty is only good for owners at the time of service. With our initial telephone call I was told that the person I needed to schedule with was out of the country for 2 weeks and they would have him call me upon his return. After almost 3 weeks, he didn't call so I had to call the office back. The process of getting him out to look at the areas that needed to be touched up took several more weeks, each time with me calling the office. This was also very frustrating since the only person that could help me worked part-time, so it was hit or miss to reach her when I called, and it was hit or miss for her to return my telephone calls. After several weeks I was finally told the painter would be out on a certain day to do the work. He and I walked around the house so I could show him the areas. It was kind of a wasted effort as he missed spots I pointed out. During the initial painting in 2006, the garage windows (2) were not painted at all. He took care of those, as well as having to repaint 3 kitchen windows....All the windows that were done were painted shut AGAIN! "

"Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs. "
