"Excellent from start to finish. Obtaining an estimate and scheduling work was extremely easy using the online application. Further questions I had were addressed by Kayla promptly and efficiently. The crew (Jeffery & Donnie) did a great job! They were thorough and explained the roof cleaning process in detail. Very personable. The house looks really good."

"We are preparing our house for sale. I hired Carranza Cleaning to clean the interior to prepare for painting. It was very dusty and messy, as we had just moved out. The crew was on time and did a terrific job. They worked quickly and efficiently, and Jasmine was professional and kind. I highly recommend this company, and will use them again."

Everything was cleaned so thoroughly, and it was such a relief coming home to a fresh and spotless space. They were professional, friendly, and paid attention to the little details. "Service Master in Greencastle provides excellent service. This is the 3rd time I’ve hired them and am never disappointed. They arrive on time, professional, and do excellent work. I hired them to clean outdoor cushions on a patio set . The cushions were good quality but very dirty from previous owners. Service Master cleaned them good as new ! Very happy with this business."

"On 2/16 Steam Master came out to clean our carpets and they refused to clean them. B&C Carpet Care was recommended by our banker. Bob came out and worked 4 hours and did an amazing job. Some of the stains from dog urine did not come out, which was expected. House smells great and floors are amazingly clean.

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s best to wash all linens, pet items, curtains, rugs, clothing, and cushion covers to remove any excess residue that could cause harm. The pesticides from flea bombs can often linger on surfaces or fabrics, which is why washing all items is best for the health of you and your loved ones.

Though it may seem like a lot of work to keep an attic in tip-top shape, the truth is that you only need to deep clean this space once a year. In the meantime, check on it roughly once a month to make sure there are no leaks, remove cobwebs, and air out unwanted odors to ensure it looks and feels great between annual cleaning sessions.

Cleaning your bathtub once per week should be plenty. Keeping up a weekly cleaning schedule will prevent mold or mildew issues, and any cleaning you do will be less labor-intensive. If you can’t find the time to clean your bathtub, you could consider hiring a local residential cleaning service.

The best way to help a family member or friend declutter their home is to hire a professional organizer or cleaner to do it for them. However, you can also help them make a plan to tackle the clutter. Sit down with them and sort through the items, making piles of what to keep, toss, and donate. Focus on one area at a time to avoid overwhelming them. If they have trouble letting go of some items, ask them when they last used each item, what its purpose is, and whether it has sentimental value. The answers to these questions can help you advise them on handling clutter.

You should consider doing a few things on your own that fall under the category of “good house cleaner etiquette” to prepare for your house cleaner. These include tidying counters, floors, and other surfaces, taking care of the dishes, moving laundry to the laundry room or a dedicated laundry basket, and putting away personal and private items. Think of your house cleaner as someone who brings your home from relatively tidy to organized and clean, and you should have no issues.
