At NuFlow Indy, our specialty is sewer line repair utilizing trenchless methods. We help our customers save time and money, typically over 20-50% vs dig solutions (which we also do). We proudly offer military and first responder discounts as well! Trenchless sewer pipe repairs allow us to restore drain lines and sewer pipes without having to tear up your residence or commercial building. Because of this, the process offers many benefits, including: *Repairs usually take only a couple of hours. *Less-intrusive techniques mean saving landscaping, flooring, and walls in homes & businesses. *Efficient services save our customers time and money. Trenchless repairs meet industry standards and local utility standards, which are permanent. Nu Flow Indy also has specialized equipment for: *High Definition Self Leveling Camera Inspections. *Cleaning 100% of the pipe, not just poking a hole so water flows for a few more weeks. * Fixing your problem with either Dig or No Dig solutions. We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with a free quote!

"After receiving an extremely high water bill I contacted a contractor that I knew to have him look into it. His analysis was that there was a leak in the main water line which is something he did not do. After doing some research regarding various companies that provide service in this area I chose Nu Flow Indy to investigate based on their expertise as shown on their website and prior customer reviews. Jason Long arrived to investigate and determined that the issue was in fact in the main water line. Jason explained exactly what the process would entail and gave me his personal cell number as point-of-contact. A quote was sent detailing the process and cost and I contacted Jason to proceed with the replacement. Though there were some unforeseen issues that were no fault of Jason or Nu Flow Indy Jason resolved the issues pushing through until the new main water line was installed, completing the install of the new main water line and hookup at 11:20PM on the 2nd day. Jason had a team come back to fill in the trench and a "dig site" leaving the area with as little impact as possible. I thank Jason, Adam, Brian, Rudy, Matt & Rico for their dedication/professionalism. Also I want to add that these gentlemen are Great people."

"Nickie was great on the phone. She helped me work through my plumbing needs and scheduling. Being personable is very important to me when I am dealing with home repair issues. There was also an issue with my misunderstanding on a bill, and they dismissed it. I will use them again. Thanks!"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

A sewer cleanout typically looks like a white or gray PVC pipe with a removable cap. It's often located either in your yard or basement, depending on your home's plumbing configuration. The cleanout pipe is designed to provide easy access to your sewer system for maintenance and inspections. It may be flush with the ground or slightly elevated, making it distinguishable from other pipes. When you remove the cap, you can access the sewer line directly or determine its direction, which can be helpful when you need to locate your sewer line from your house to the street.

Schedule regular inspections, fix minor issues promptly, and ensure proper drainage.

First, find the cleanout pipe in your yard. Unscrew the cap—you may need a wrench to do so. Then, get a drain snake. You can use a non-motorized one, but a motorized snake will make the job a little easier. Feed the snake through the pipe until it reaches the clog. Spin the snake continuously, but don’t try to feed it through the pipe anymore. Keep spinning until you feel it break the clog apart.

A sewer line should be cleaned at least once every 18 to 22 months. The process takes about 30 minutes or up to 5 hours, depending on the size of the line, how easy it is to access, and how long it’s been since the previous cleaning. If your sewer line hasn’t been cleaned in a couple of years or you don’t even know the last time it’s been cleaned, it’s time to call a pro.

Your home has a few telltale signs of a sewer line problem. If you notice multiple plumbing fixtures (toilet, sink, or shower drains) appear to be clogged, call a plumber ASAP. Also, if water appears in the tub or shower when you flush the toilet, you likely have a sewer line issue. A sulfur (rotten eggs) smell and bubbling or gurgling noises at the drain also warrant a check. And keep your eyes peeled for changes to the yard, such as a new indentation or mysteriously soggy grass.
