Every time I called to report an animal caught in the trap, Mr. E. came quickly to retrieve it. I have every confidence they were treated humanely and did not suffer. An added bonus the fall/winter of 2017 and 2018/19 my house has also been rodent free! It's been great that the house is sealed up and mice are no longer visiting. Raccoons and opossums still set off my light sensors but they are now transient visitors--not living in tunnels under the house.
