"1/10/12 - I am doing a kitchen remodel myself but needed help getting an older model "above the stove" microwave removed and a newer model installed.  I went to Angie's List to see if anyone in Bloomington provided such services and found Middleton Construction with a grade of "A".  I called him mid-afternoon and he called back around 5:30.  He offered to stop by the next day around lunchtime and evaluate/bid.  If he does well (price, professionalism, etc) I may ask for his services again.  I have several other projects needing attention...so if he does well on pricing and installation on this project, I will definitely use his services for more work later.  This is definitely a test run for Middleton Construction.

1/11/12 - He arrived near the time he said he would show up...many contractors don't.  I was pleased.  I agreed to what I thought was a high bid but I wanted the work done now...and agreed to his price.  He said he would be at my home at 9:30. 

1/12/12 - He showed up promptly at 9:30 and set up his tools and got to work.  He paid close attention to the instructions provided by the manufacturer and he was careful about my granite countertops and flooring...he laid down a tarp to protect the floor as it had just snowed.  He finished quickly and I am most pleased with his work.  He also adjusted his early bid down lower because it took him less time that he had originally predicted.  This was AMAZING!

As a result of his professional approach and cleanliness I will definitely be asking him to come back and assist me with five other projects (I discussed them with him after he finished so he had no idea I had other work planned for him if he did well.)  I think he is exceptionally good and highly recommend him to others for fairness, promptness, and professionalism."
