Chief Home Services was first started in Sesser, Illinois about two hours east of Saint Louis. I wanted to continue to expand the business, and now we are looking to relocate to the Metro East area. We offer everything from home maintenance and repairs, remodeling, painting, junk removal, land clearing and demolition. My crews are highly experienced and pride themselves on getting jobs done as quickly, but also safely as possible.

Our company primarily does curbside delivery. While we haul about anything, our focus is perishable goods such as foods and food products that are time sensitive. Our drivers are trained and responsible at their jobs. In addition to hauling, we also offer some rental options. Moving: 2 wheelers moving blankets load bars straps Agricultural: Tractor with loader, 3 point tiller, walk behind tiller and miscellaneous other equipment for landscaping, gardens and food plots. We provide a wide variety of home maintenance services to include deck repairs, remodeling, fence repairs, painting, gutter cleaning, yard drainage systems, drywall repairs, light fixtures, window installation and much more. We have experience with commercial and residential working environments. At SJS Handyman we believe in a three pillar concept of trust, respect and integrity and that it's those three concepts that build lasting relationships with our clients.

"I obtained Scott's contact information from a neighbor after moving to the area. On his first day, he improperly installed one side of a railing, leaving me perplexed about his lack of basic tools, like a level. His partner mentioned he had been informed about the mistake. Upon returning to fix it the following day, my concerns grew. Months later, a baluster fell due to poor installation; I discovered that he had only secured one-third of the balusters with screws, using nails for the remainder. This led to warping from outdoor exposure, necessitating the replacement of all ten balusters I ordered. Recently, while leaning on the railing, it shifted under my weight. Despite contacting Scott, he has not responded. I strongly advise against hiring SJS Handyman; their unprofessionalism includes delayed work, unexcused absences, and the inappropriate use of old materials in the project."
