"George was very responsive setting up the appointment. Upon arrival, He reviewed the room and condition of the walls and suggested that removing the wallpaper and patching the walls was possible but risky given the amount of time it would take and the possibility that the walls would be in bad condition once the layers were removed. He suggested considering taking the walls down to the studs but his crews do not offer this service. In my opinion, he was honest in his assessment and I felt he had my best interest in mind. Ultimately, we discussed a basic paint quote for the room if the walls were repaired."

"MNM did an excellent job hanging wallpaper in our nursery. The wallpaper looks terrific and there were some difficult parts to the job. MNM was easy to deal with at a reasonable price and handled everything very well. I would hire them again."

"I spoke with Daniel on 1st day, we conversed back and forth. Right away he stated they could fix the door to close properly. Sent pics, he gave quote and stuck by that amount. Later we wanted door plate done as well. Extra amount was fair. The worker was most efficient and no nonsense, didn't stop until he was done. Very happy. Will choose again for other projects for sure."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

When installing new steel doors, it’s smart to do other projects simultaneously. This can lower costs, limit mess, and help your home look and function better. For example, replacing a damaged doorframe is wise when planning door installations.

Also consider changing broken or worn-out locks, repairing or replacing weather stripping, and updating handles. Painting, staining, or upgrading the trim around the door can also improve energy efficiency, security, and aesthetics.

No. If you overlap seams, the wallpaper will not come out flat. In addition to possibly throwing off your pattern match between rolls, overlapping seems necessary. If wallpaper is properly acclimated, and temperature and moisture conditions are optimal during installation, there is no reason to fear shrinkage as it dries.

Options include bricks, natural stone, and concrete blocks. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and budget.

There can be too much of a good thing when it comes to accent walls, so avoid creating one in every room in your house. Some rooms, like bathrooms and kitchens, don’t naturally lend themselves to accent walls, so it’s best to skip them there. Of course, your home should reflect your own sense of style, so if accent walls in multiple rooms appeal to you, there’s no hard-and-fast rule forbidding it.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.
