Small jobs welcome

I've been painting for several years and learned the trade by working alongside my grandpa on a wide variety of projects. During that time, I've gained experience with everything from simple room repaints to detailed, custom paint work. I specialize in both interior and exterior painting and take pride in delivering clean lines, smooth finishes, and lasting results.\n\nI'm excited to take the next step by offering my services independently while bringing the same quality craftsmanship and attention to detail to every job. I proudly serve homeowners throughout the surrounding area and am happy to travel to nearby communities. I believe in honest communication, showing up when I say I will, and treating every home with the same care and respect as if it were my own. Whether you need a fresh coat of paint or a more intricate project, I'm committed to making sure you're completely satisfied with the finished result.

"Ron Laster was professional from the first contact which was nearly immediately after I submitted a request for a quote. His crew of 2 ( Curtis and JR) were very through and took careful measures when painting our home. Ron was always on time and pricing was right on track with my budget. He stuck to the plan and was always double checking his work to make sure it was done right. If not.... he would make it right which was hardly ever the case, He was always spot on with every step. My home is absolutely beautiful now. Inside and out. GREAT JOB, Ron Laster and crew!!!!!! Very happy with all that they did. Thanks a million ! would hire again and again."

"This was the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. Very professional. Very reasonable price. Aurther is very quick and his painting is awesome!! All freehand, no taping. He recommended Sherwin Williams paint, which made all the difference too. Our walls look brand new!! If he sees something that needs attention he will let you know. More than pleased with his work!!!!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Yes, a magic eraser can remove candle wax. You can use it to remove all the candle wax from start to finish. Another option is to remove all large clumps with a dull knife and then pull out your magic eraser to finish the job. However, while the results can be impressive, a magic eraser shouldn’t be used on all surfaces since it can potentially damage them. If you try this method, test a small, hidden spot first and proceed cautiously.

Yes, but with caution. A floor grinder is intended to level and polish concrete, so it is a very powerful tool. To remove paint, the floor grinder should be set to 35 square feet per minute or less to minimize the pressure without the use of pocket weights. You might need to go over the surface two times to get any paint that has sunk into the concrete’s pores.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.
