"You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."

I received calls from the scheduler at the main office the week prior to installation and she was very helpful giving me an idea of what to expect. The installation team came on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 and completed the entire installation in seven (7) hours. The installation team (Jordan, Matt, Cody-1 and Cody-2) was professional, they knew their job responsibilities, and were efficient with their time. I was extremely pleased with all the work they completed and the end result was a beautiful installation. The inspector came this afternoon and highly commended the finished job. I couldn't be happier with the new egress window and the quality of the work done by B-Dry Solutions. I would use their services again if I had to install another egress window."

"Beware of Feldco. Misleading Sales Tactics. We had windows, siding, gutters, facet, soffiting, and a back door and storm door installed. Salesman stated two payments. 50% down to start the job and remaining due at completion and satisfaction of the jobs. They wanted payment after each job. Workers left two windows unframed with pine shims and spray foam insulation sticking out. Back door lock was installed crooked, bottom weather stripping was ripped up, and worker destroyed my original oak trim around the door and installed white trim in place of it. Siding crew didnt speak english and I came home to them installing insulation board over my existing siding instead of taking old siding off. They were caught not replacing old rotted facet boards and tried installing over rotted out wood. Vinyl trim around the windows was not even. They had to come out three times to caulk the same window. Workers put up new gutters with large black scrape on the front. Sales presentation is recorded, but will not provide a copy of audio to customer."

Egress windows can significantly add value to your home. Adding an egress window allows you to market your basement as a living space, increasing your home’s value. In most cases, the increase in value will allow you to fully recover the installation cost, if not more, when it comes time to sell.

Awning windows are just like hopper windows except that they open the opposite way. Instead of opening inward, awning windows open outward with a hinge at the top. This creates a mini-awning within your window frame, which is where the name comes from. Hopper windows, on the other hand, open inward with a hinge at the bottom.

Casement windows can either be left or right opening, and every window manufacturer makes both so that you can choose which works best for your space. In many cases, you’ll want one left-opening and one right-opening casement window to sit on either side of a picture window or to act as the side panels in a bay window. Just remember that the direction is described from the curb.
