"We have needed a new roof for several years; ceiling leakage, etc. Only this year have we found the means to proceed. We did some research around our neighborhood, and chose Showalter because it was favored by folks we knew, who had connections with building or contracting. The recommendation was well earned, and although the quote was higher than we expected, it came with a guarantee that we can have problems repaired as long as we live under this roof. Not only that, but if we sell the house, there are accomodations for the new homeowners as well. We didn't have to wait long for them to schedule work, which was great. The work was begun and completed in ONE DAY. That was surprising, considering that there was a lot of plywood that needed replacing. They recommended ridge vents and edge vents to maximize air flow through the attic space. They cleaned up after themselves, and inspection was complete within 4 days of the job. We are very pleased with the result, and with all the good advice that Showalter gave us to fix our issues."
